What are you talking about here?Originally posted by gixxer_junkie_m View PostI don't want to start a whole discussion on this topic. But that's india isn't it?I mean we can talk about how things should be and all such things .The reality stares you in the face and thumbs its nose at you.
The machine has been seen hardly an hour back, and we are cribbing about this being India and crap like that!! I seriously feel that if it is seen again, some sort of action must be taken to get the machine back...:)

Exactly my point! Unless we get some serious pressure to be put on the authorities ,they wont budge .Or he can take matters into his own hands and do something about catching the guy and handing him over to the cops.Originally posted by Aryan View PostWhat are you talking about here?

I Somehow feel that today also , he might go towards neclace road. As far as the way i read him , he's half DUMB because just removing the number plates he thought he wouldnt be caught , so he would be going to neclace road for posing as lot of people in hyd do during weekends. So may be a wild guess that he can be caught? If u Wanna Break The "LAWS" , Break "NEWTON's "

Dear all,
While I may not have updated, rest assured, I have been reading the posts and informing my friend harish of the updates. My replies to your posts are below. I have some updates of my own down below:
Thank you yeshu_hyd! I have a feeling that this guy is either extremely cocky or just plain ignorant. But lets' see, as my friend has been updated regarding this situation.Originally posted by Yeshu_hyd View PostHey Guys a while ago my freind, Thejus(Satan69) found this bike near Khairatabad junction . It was going towards panjagutta. Possibility is that it might go towards ameerpet side or go to banjara hills side.He saw the same guy with a pillion it seems .
You are right riazmomin! I am putting myself in the place of the thief's shoes. This is why I am trying to leverage xbhp as much as possible. There has been more than 4500 views. Any prospective buyer will consider this mishap, and if the bike is quoted for an unreasonable rate, I want people to realize or doubt a scam involved. Unfortunately, can't trust cops on this regard, and yes, there are good painters here. But one must do a job where the bike's paint is matched with another cbr600's pattern. my question is, will this thief take so much pain? and true enthusiast know the year model and knnow the respective paint scheme. My guess is that since he already removed the stickers (as posted by another member) he's just trying his best to avoid spotting (fooslish as it may sound).Originally posted by riazmomin View PostWhen you can see a bike like R1, CBR are bought in pieces here and assembled and sold here illegally...you can imagine what could have been happened to the CBR600..!
Its not tough to get the bike repainted, Hyderabad has good painters who can do topclass job in decent amounts of 10K.
As other guys stated..The bike could have be ripped off to parts and transported to other locations like Bangalore/Pune/Mumbai (usually) in a large carboard boxes..and there are many private buses that do overnight journey to these locations with out any check by the Bus staff or the police check posts.
The typical things that these kind of people do is, they do not operate from the city in the job is done, they usally operate from ciy outskirts, So have a thorough check on City out skirts like NH7 and NH9 city exits at Shamshabad and BHEL/Patancheru respectively. Browse through the mechanic shops around.
It becomes very hard for even to cops to trace out one the bike has changed its appearance and moved to another city.
Its already been near to 20 days since the jobs was done! So in worst case..the bike has been already moved to another city in pieces..or in teh best case..the bike is in city and waiting for a new prospective buyer.
put yourself in shoes of the guy who did this job.
Dear statan69in, this really hurts! I did call my friend and tried him to rush regarding this issue. Well, don't you smell soemthing here? I am guessing that the cop took some money from this thief. All likely possibility for that. If luck is in our favor, some cop should catch him for riding without a number plate. The sad plight is that cops in hyderabad are very bad, in the sense, they know that guyz riding sbks are big shots and they hardly try to pull them over. This is very evident in hyderabad. The thief realizes this very well, which explains how cooly he's riding the bike.Originally posted by satan69in View Posthey dude,i saw the bike just an hour back..i called up your friend asap..that same guy in pic was riding it..he was wearing a maroon tshirt and blue jeans and some pillion guy too...he removed the rear no plate and front sticker registration...he was coming down from kairathabad flyover and was going through the junction towards panjagutta..while going through teh junction,he saw the traffic cops and increased his speed...i have clearly seen that idiot's face....i coudnt follow then as i was stuck in traffic signal..when i went to the traffic police(some guy with 3 stars on his flaps) and informed him,hes said ki why i dint follow him
what the bloody hell,is that the way a cop speaks? he dint even radio it over to any other cop...if he would have done his job and told the police guys over at erramanzil junction and panjagutta junction,he would have been nabbed...and after that hes telling me to go file a complaint in panjagutta police station that i saw the bike...i am so ashamed of these bloody buggers who call themselves as cops and only do their duty if money is thrown on their retarded face or if some authority is shown...disgusting
But man, thanks a ton! please give us of any updates. As we're trying oru best. I hope my friend gets it back!.
You are right gixxer_junkie. thanks for the important point regarding the cops. I have updated to my friend harish on this regard. Will try to get in touch with the traffic cops within the panjagutta and erramanzil region. Thanks a ton buddy!Originally posted by gixxer_junkie_m View PostMy thoughts were exactly the same as@riazmomin .The sbk business is done in underground and its a huge business.Meaning the whole shebang!! Just like in movies it is done with corruption as an ally .So it won't be of much help pleading with the cops. They need incentives ,otherwise its as good as banging your head against the wall.Besides they seem experienced guys who know these things well, hence they conned the guy and are still moving around freely!!
I am sorry to say this ,but i am 100 % in agreement with what riazmomin has said.
These conns aren't stupid guys !! They know the system and are confident of dealing with it .Hence posing for the pic and not even bothering to lay low for a while .
Please try giving some incentives to the cops and do some tracing yourselves and let the cops make an entry at the climax!!
Lets just hope that it doesn't end up in a chop-shop .If it does then i am afraid that'd be the end of it.
I am sorry for being so outright.
Right again, satan69in! thanks!Originally posted by satan69in View Postdint you guys read what i have posted..i saw the bike and that guy in the pic today at around 5pm..he removed the number plate at the rear and sticker in front..he got scared seeing the traffic cops so he increased his speed and sped away...so the bike is still here and is out in the open...if the cops are diligent and not lazy, then they can certainly nab the guy
Shocking and frustrating aryan! I am fuming with anger here, I can't imagine what my friend is going through!Originally posted by Aryan View PostI just hope someone from Hyderabad can do something serious about it to get the machine back, which the concerned person is riding unabashedly on public roads! This is shocking!!
Not for long ravi! When so many people are alerted, is only a matter of time. fingers crossed!Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostThat person really has guts. Its shocking. He has stolen the bike and happily roaming in city.

You are right Yeshu_hyd. Somehow this thief has a lot of pride going. If he is in the sbk underworld dealing, his goal would be to sell the bike in a different town. But this idiot, he's loves to pose apparantly! what the hell? He's got a lot of pride going, that too, on a superbike! I swear, if I get my hands of him!!!! god! He will definitely get caught!Originally posted by Yeshu_hyd View PostI Somehow feel that today also , he might go towards neclace road. Dear all, thanks again for your help, support and considerating. And guess what? The thief actually had the never to call up my friend last wednesday (Aug 25) and say that the bike has been confiscated by the DRI and that he wants his advance money (1.1 L) back! What a duaba$$! Does he think we are such fools! My friend assured that he will get his money back and asked the thief to come meet him, with hopes of nabbing the guy, the the a$$h**e never turned up. He thought he could scare my friend by bringing the DRI into picture. He probably realizes now that my friend is aware of the theft. But what I STILL don't understand is that the idiot is still out showing off in public.
You know what they say: reality is stranger than fiction! what the hell guyz? any thoughts on this?

Put it on Team-bhp.com
Put it on Team-bhp.com. Let the Car owners also know about this case.
Reason - There are more members online on Team-bhp and not just xbhp people will be knowing. In Automobile Fraternity.. I think everybody will be more than willing to help.. And since this is a case of Superbike.. more people will be more than willing to help.
Put it on Team Bhp. But yes.. you will have to explain this to moderators on team-bhp... why you want help. Do it.Why Road Safety campaigns are not impacting people?

no you are mistaken..he dint give any money and neither did he stop at that junction..he saw the cops at a distance, gained up speed and zoomed off from a far off distance...
and i dont think DRI took the bike...hes just bluffing..hes either a dumb posing jerk or a clever scheming genious
on another note, does the bike have valid papers or documents?? and if you have his number, why dont you give it to the police and have it traced?

@Bking
Bro, since you have already made a complaint with the police and he i still within the city, you can trace his moblie no easily. If you can locate the tower where he is roaming , you can easily sorround him.
Talk to the police personally or try to pressurise them if you have any political back ground. Once the police is ready fully, they can easily catch him within a couple of days. As per all these posts I could easily say that the guy is not a professional thief. So, we can easily trace him.

The number is given to the police satan69in. The bike does NOT have all the valid papers. That's the problem. You'd be surprised by how many of these bikes don't have proper papers. If you read my posts on page 4 of this same topic, I would have highlighted this issue and how scamsters and bike brokers exploit this situation. My frien'ds bike has only paid partial duty. Yaar, I can't thank you enough for your feedback! You can relate to the pain that both my friend and I are feeling. Fingers crossed buddy.Originally posted by satan69in View Postno you are mistaken..he dint give any money and neither did he stop at that junction..he saw the cops at a distance, gained up speed and zoomed off from a far off distance...

Yeah thunderbird_m6. and if you do nab them, please give us a holler too, no kidding!Originally posted by thunderbird_m6 View PostWe need to consult PAUL - The Octopus on this issue seriuosly if people are able to see it roaming within city limits.
Me & some of my friends have decided to thrash that son-of-gun if ever we are able to see him riding this bike.
Yes karthikbenz, he is a #$%# poser! The idiot is showing off on a stolen bike! His days are numbered! fingers crossed!Originally posted by karthikbenz View Post@Bking
