run in is on so have been taking to 100 and slowing down multiple times trying to alter heat levels for the engine for it to get used to it
        Noticed a few things
When ever i accelerate quickly say 2 to 3 to 4 to 5 the bike jerks a little in every gear !! slight jerk as in the shift is not very smooth , im changing gears around 4 or 5k rpm i asked akhil about it he said maybe the clutch is slipping which can be caused if semi synthetic oil is used when running in the bike only pure mineral oil should be used for run in period !! wanted your opinion on this.

im guessing cruising at 120 or 140 even would be a delight on this !

i filled up 12.9 L of shell super unleaded few days back

wanted to know if revving the bike in idle for a few times is bad for he engine ??? coz i just love doing that !!!!

        @TENHUT Love the signature !! \m/

Bro...just do a proper running of the bike for the 1st thousand kms by not exceeding 100kmph keeping rpm lower than 5-6K. Use good quality oils initially and only after about 3000kms you can start using synthetic oils.

        try this link...it should help

        • okay guys. i would like to announce that i finally got delivery of my bike just 2days ago
Since blaze had asked me to be a little careful i checked for every vital points and everything was alright. And as expected it is an absolute delight. No matter how skilful one can be, the bike will always show the ineptness in you.
Its been 2 days and already my odo reads 500. fastest 500 on an fz1 here i hope. I promised you guys remember, but i think my 1 st service will be due in another week!!! I had real fun with the bikes. we went for a good long ride. the sound of 2 fz1's was exhilarating to experience in the ride. even though i dint rev up a lot i knew the bike is begging me for more. however i controlled my urge to twist that wrist.

for some reason i am not able to upload the pictures

very very short summary on how the bike handles : THE FZ1 BRINGS ME MEMORIES OF MY 1st bike THE KARIZMA IT HANDLES THAT BLOODY WELL. IT DOESN'T CEASE TO AMAZE YOU HOW WELL YOU CAN HANDLE THE BIKE EVEN THOUGH IT IS THAT HEAVY. THE 6TH GEAR IS WHERE THE FUN ENDS AND THE TOURING BEGINS. AT LOW RPMS THE LAST GEAR WAS UNDERPOWERED SO I HAD TO GO A GEAR DOWN, I DON'T MIND THAT. IF I MUST SAY ANYTHING NEGATIVE ON THE BIKE THEN I MUST SAY WIND BLAST, WHICH I FELT WAS WAY TOO MUCH AND WAS EXPECTED SO IT'S ALRIGHT
I will give a better write up soon. MY KNUCKLES ARE A LITTLE SOAR NOW NOT RIDING FOR FEW MONTHS HAS TAKEN ITS TOLL ON ME.
WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL YOU GUYS FOR EDUCATING ME A LOT HERE

buddy its perfectly alright. once you add more miles things will be much smoother.
unless your revs are not above high levels its perfectly alright. go ahead and make some heads turn

              • Great pics dude... the bikes look menacing and yet delightful. Congrats and have a great time.

Just one question... what are your thoughts on the cornering abilities of the FZ1?

                  thank you

i haven't tried to lean much yet but in very little of what i tried the bike is not at all hesitant to lean. my friend however did all sort of things and i could watch him go full lean on the corners.
