I find yoshimura TRC slip on to be the best. Not too loud and sweet.

ah yea. the flame thrower. that had good bass in the exhaust note.

i prefer the MGP Factory Twins... just sounds more soul moving (to me).

        • exhausts are always a matter of personal taste, some like it some don't.

personally i don't like long&big exhausts. short exhausts produce tat much more bass and not to mention about the looks of it (for a bike like the fz1)

i like the MGP twins though

YES I AGREE IT IS LOUD (ISN'T THAT GOOD), BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. YOU CAN INSERT A DB KILLER AND IT WILL DEFINITELY REDUCE THE SOUND A LOT.

REGARDING THE DUAL EXHAUST, YOU HAVE THESE OPTIONS:

1)MotoGP Twin Cans - Speed Products Gmbh + Co KG

              2)New Page 1
IN MY OPINION THIS IS CHEAP AND BEST

                Awesome pics on the thread

Do we really need to install a power commander after we put in an after market exhaust??? Does installing an exhaust void the warranty too???

                • @blaze: Bro first have you guys named your bikes

and yes the minute you install a aftermarket the warranty is void. (i think so)
the power commander will help a lot with a full system exhaust. But then again if you don't map it then it is a waste.

                    • Warranty Vs. After Market Exhaust Pipe

Called my dealer after the issue...I asked him about the aftermarket exhaust pipe. He said "There is absolutely no problem with the exhaust, as it does not effect the bike and engine. The company rules might not allow it but about 80% of our customers get the after exhaust the second or the third day and which is also under our knowledge". He said there is no problem and we won't be judging the bike on that issue and if there is a problem with bike we can replace the aftermarket exhaust to the stock one and claim the problem. But by this he meant just the dealership and servicing. Yamaha is not involved at all...

THE DEALER IS RIGHT, BUT YAMAHA WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY.
HOWEVER IT IS RECOMMENDED TO FINISH THE RUN IN PERIOD OF 1000KMS AT LEAST BEFORE GOING FOR ANY KIND OF AFTERMARKET. WITH MY PAST EXPERIENCE I FEEL THAT YOU MUST KNOW YOUR BIKE VERY WELL IN STOCK FIRST, ONLY THEN CAN YOU APPRECIATE YOUR AFTERMARKET AND ITS PERFORMANCE\PURPOSE AFTER IT IS INSTALLED.
I CAN PROMISE YOU GUYS THAT I AM DEFINITELY GOING TO CHANGE THE EXHAUST AS SOON AS I HIT THE 1000KM MARK AND THAT WOULD BE AFTER FIFTEEN DAYS OF THE BIKE DELIVERY TO ME

I asked the dealer the same thing??? When am I getting mine. He says sabr ka fal meetha hota hai (patience is the virtue) and what i wanted to say is "shut the F*** up and get ma bike". but din have the balls, at the end he's gonna service and delivery my bike

Anyway, he has confirmed that bikes are landing on this 24th, and its a friday to custom clearance may not happen until Monday i.e. 27th. My bike will be delivered to the showroom at earliest which may be 28th. And if things are running smoothly registration and the other process being complete I should be vroooming on 29th

Accordingly Harish bro, you should also have your bike by 4th of July, keeping in mind 7 days of transportation.
