    • I am not sure about getting my resume in!!! but i surely know the road which leads to the warehouse and also the place where the bikes and keys are stored.

The Best thing I can come up with is something like a Italian Job or Bank Job.....or rather the YAMAHA JOB

make sure you don't use a cloth.

yup. only use a cloth once you've sprayed away all the dirt n grime.

use a micro-fibre cloth which will keep the gloss glossy.

use a separate cloth for painted parts & non-painted parts.

                is useful in the monsoon.

water drops will just slide off painted parts.

don't let any get on your seat.

                    • @Niks - Don't know where or how the silders are installed on the FZ1 but believe me they are definitely useful. Of course, in a bad crash, they are as good as useless but at slow speed imbalance or during silly tip overs, they are extremely useful.

Ex 1 - During my recent official trip, I rented a Honda CB 600F. The dealer is around 60kms from my hotel. Had no issues riding all the way up to the hotel but while parking in the hotel garage, I made a right turn on a slope at slow speed and couldn't control the bike. In fact, I could not anticipate the stopping distance and suddenly the bike was at angle and tipped over at the right. The bike had frame sliders installed thus saving my pocket. Had there been no sliders, the tank for sure would have atleast scratched.

Ex 2 - I was at the Ducati showroom yesterday and saw a Hypermotard for repairs. The owner had a bad fall and you know how? At stand still, his jeans were caught in the foot peg and quite unaware when he tried to balance with his left leg, the bike leaned towards the left and fell over. This did not have the sliders and the damages you can imagine.

I guess about 6K verses excess of over 50K

@jvh: i totally agree with u. high speed crash its not going to help the bike but small unexpected falls, the frame sliders can avert major expense.

JVH gave the best example ever and i know where to put the sliders will update with a pic soon. the sliders i a must have for these bikes forget about high speed crashes atleast they provide support for small falls

Checked with performance racing (mumbai) the sliders are available for 5k but will get more updates tomo whether they have sliders for fz or not

                            • Ninja 650???

Bajaj launching Kawasaki Ninja 650???!!!!! Bajaj Ninja website as of date says 2 days to go.

Taking from the above, I guess Yamaha and Honda have their own plans for R6 and CBR600 too.

Also, Ducati has closed the showroom in Gurgaon(Delhi-NCR) which has been renovated now for Hyosung Motors. Ducati is sadly not accepting any further bookings, even for the future orders. Wonder what's gonna happen to the existing customers
