Is Yamaha India planning to launch semi-faired FZ1 in India this year?

@diehard: my friend got his bike delivered..i was there all along.. the rear is insane the rear 190 tires on the fz1 is same as the r1/cbr/gxr but it compliments the bike much better than the others

i just loved the bike.. what an awesome looking bike...

let me tell you all.. the fz1 is not that photogenic compared to other bikes,, (my personal view).... u must must see it for real to appreciate its beauty.. on pic it just looks like a big fz150 but for real its a monster of a bike.. but dont get me wrong its not huge !!!! its very nimble and comfortable to ride.

@niks : my bike is atleast 20-25 days due 3of us booked the bike.

very doubtful if it would come this year... fz1 was just launched few months back so they might release the fazer next yr

@ harishks !! i know the feeling dude ! in pics it looks exactly like the fz16 but man it looks insane in person ! i got the jitters when i saw it !! massive !! am kinda worried tht i wont be able to ride it !! lol niks should pitch in with some consolation now !

lol i cant get too excited yet since the registration happens tomorrow and tht takes app two days and i cant pick up the bike on a Saturday so sunday or monday have to pick it up

Riding the bike is not difficult at all. Just dont whack open the throttle. Get used to the power and torque before u start having fun

BTW quick question i wanted to know did the front disc have a lot of criss cross lines on it ?? coz when i saw the front disc on this bike there were a lot of these criss crosses ?? also did the tool kit come with the bike ! coz mine wasnt there i asked the dealer he said they will arange it for me ! ?? tht was kinda frustrating actually !

and yes the bike does come with a tool kit.. u will ve to remove the back seat to access it.. its got good space in there too..

Hey Nikhil, I saw the white FZ1 with R15 outside Khandeshwar Station. The FZ1 rider was busy in clicking pics. I doubt whether it was you? Are you touring somewhere now...

There are no criss cross lines on the disc. And yes I was given a tool kit.and I requested for a medi kit too.

yup that was me and Nav75/Navendu on the Yellow R15

I Wish i could take it with TR !! but will have to wait for a few days want the registration to get over

I did the same thing. The insurance was valid from that day only (with engine and chassis number)

When you ride , do try accelerating from 50-55kmph in 5th gear (at 2000rpm) till 100 ish and feel the torque

@ Niks, Harish and all future FZ1 owners !

Important not for all of you . yamaha was working on providng insurance coverage for the FZ1 and have put this in motion so Yamaha is now providing warranty on the bike for 1 year ( only electrical parts are not covered). When u recieve ur bike ask the regional sales manager to send you a confirmation mail and with this mail you can receive the warranty certificate also as and when it is dispersed from the head office
