hey niks congrats on your bike..

i too ve booked the fz1 (white). unfortunately they ve asked me to wait for this colour
few questions:
1) have u touched speeds above 200kmph? if so how is the wind blast??? is it managable? not yet,but i have been there over 200 , its not manageable.
2) is shell super recomended? how r u following it up?

3) have u owned any other sbks before? do u feel contented with the power?
yes , a 500 cc bullet. 150 bhp will satisfy many ppl.
4) are u planning for any mods?
I am planning to put a power booster mod , will increase my bhp by 5.32 % . I hope that will make the bike more fun to ride
5) should we worry about getting the radiator mesh??? cause i ve heard the mechanics say tat regular riding/touring can damage it, as it is completely exposed!!!!!!!!!!

6) how s the clutch doing?? i mean is it smooth? i felt it was a little hard though!!! when u ride in traffic does your fingers hurt????

As per the service center , regular service will cost between 4 to 5k

Mileage i have got so far is 18 and 19.6 kmpl (already posted in the thread)

Sitting is upright (more upright than 220 and ninja 250) and there is no need to put weight on wrists , hence no pain so far.

The mileage for this big a bike is quite decent, considering the cc & yamaha brand [ normally yammy's are known for good power bad mileage ]

I just had a question ... it has clip on handle bars or single bar as Z16 ?

Hey congratulations on an amazing buy... I am sure you will be happy for many years to come!! The reason I know this is .. I own a 08 FZ1 and could not have been happier. You need to get rid of the bazooka exhaust though.. I finally got a new MIVV Suono. Hopefully should have it installed this weekend. Again congratulations on an awesome choice.

all i know is that every dealer in b'lore is saying there is no stock!!!! (im not lookin to pick up the display bike)
the dealer tells me that due to unexpected demand there is no stock in delhi!!!
and due to japan's nuke crisis it is proposed tat i wait atlest 35 days!!!

btw wats the news on the bike learnt anything new about the bike?
and if u go for a pc 3/5 dont u think u must also do the full system exhaust..
but u would feel tat your bike is on steroids tats for sure

I am not actually interested in FFE or and power boosting mods...
