And it's a little strange for something that makes upwards of 150 bhp to not have a steering damper as stock, no?
Who needs more than 70 bhp when you don't need to slow down for the corners?

It's strange that any bike upwards of 100 bhp doesn't have TC

      • Ok it's all done except for the sprockets. Some pics, since this is an ownership thread. If anyone minds I'll create a separate thread so do let me know.

Here's the entire list of mods:

Yoshi slip on, Gutted cat, PC-V (with correct map for these mods), FCE, Lars airbox mod, BMC filter, rizoma rearsets with racing pegs, puig levers, sliders all around, custom made exhaust hanger with carbon vinyl wrap, compwerkes LTD tail tidy, integrated brake and turn lights, wheels painted gold (don't like), Tomaselli 50 mm clip ons.

To do: 16/48 sprockets with chain, stomp grips, steel lines (does it help much?), steering damper.

          • that is one pimped up and pampered ride way to go.

you seem unhappy with the gold colour wheels, why not get them coloured different. how about combo colours

            • If I decide to keep the bike for longer I'll have them painted black with metallic red accents on the spokes.

                • Just a slip on won't make the bottom end better. At least do the air filter and airbox mod and cut the secondary butterflies. You will need a PC too. All slip ons available here.

If you want better bottom end you want a smaller front sprocket or a bigger rear sprocket or both.

                    • Lower gearing is a good way to get the most out of your powerband for city and twisty riding. If you do touring on the fz then maybe not.

All slip ons are about the same. Go for the one you like the looks of and sound. I have yoshi, very loud. Akras are good but quieter. There are plenty to choose from. If you can stretch your budget get a full system. About 10hp increase in the mid range.

                            • I find the growlers to be very loud. I like the Mivv and the Yoshi on the fz , sweet sound with good bass

                              • I love the Racefit growler. If you like it loud and mean then go for it. I'm considering changing my yoshi for that too.
