hey Guys,

I heard from a dealer in pune that a new 2012 model is around the corner and would be available around Dec. 1st week for 30k more. Apparently there isn't any change to engine but is a face lift with possibility of newer shades.
Does anyone know more about this?

I DON'T THINK SO BUDDY. THE 2012 MODEL FZ1 WILL COME TO INDIA ONLY MID/LATE NEXT YEAR. THE PRICE HIKE IS THERE FOR THE CURRENT BIKE ITSELF.

I have booked an FZ1 in Pune. The dealer told me that I will get a 2012 model by dec. 2011 ( 1st week hopefully) and I can register it in Jan 2012. It's costing approx. 10.30 lacs. Any idea what it costs in Bangalore/ Mumbai etc? Maybe I could bargain with him for couple of k's.

Just put steel braided front lines on my FZ1. The difference is night and day. Highly recommend the investment. Also put in new rubber along with suspension adjustment. The FZ1 feels so much more relaxed on curves and do not have to fight the turns anymore... am very very happy :-)

I'm new to this forum, and thanks to all of you for the very wealthy info you are sharing. Will make sure I'm regular here

Some months bath I've booked a monster 796 and got into some trouble with their delivery in Bangalore. After reading Niks posts and all your comments, I finally booked an FZ1 (same white) than waiting for 796 issues sorted out. Seems like I probably made the right choice.

The dealer said I should get the bike in a week's time and I'm excited about it!
