        For sure I am pretty late to extend my wishes here ............. still CONGRATULATIONS ................. I was so mean while surfing across your thread that I was only and only looking at her ............ and now I am for the first time in life "falling" for a Ducati (seriously) .............. pics pics and pics ................ white color is an absolute delight !!

        Hey, I just went on the Ducati India web and my first inspection was related to the service backup they provide in India (because I think this is the most vital parameter to consider before buying any product)........... which says that they are in Chandigarh and Mumbai ............ so the obvious ques is how do you manage the due services of the white beauty ??

          thanks a lot brother. she indeed is gorgeous in soo many ways that the mind can not fathom.
          the chandigarh dealership has closed down unfortunately - though they are promising the service.
          the second service is just around the corner - and i am totally confused where to get it done from. Not very confident about chandigarh guy's know how and not sure whether i want to deal with the mumbai guy because of all the malpractices the owner comes up with. so yup - one can say i am in a tight spot as of now.

          but most probably i would go with Zainul from Ducati Mumbai - since i need to get this done with an authorised person only so that i don't screw up the warranty.

            I am sure that there is no harm in more pictures. She's a beauty and guys like me keep coming back to SBK section for updates. Honestly, I do not mind old pics, low res. pics, dark pics or any other pic that people consider high res.. C'mon now! you've got an obligation to keep this thread alive, right??!

                    we had an independence day ride on the 15th.

                    on 14th night we tried clicking some pictures to get the tricolor right - few are a bit doctored images - rest are stock

                    hope you do enjoy them

                      changed the front sprocket of the bike to 14T and boy it has made it into a different "monster" altogether

                      pros : pick up has improved considerably, gear changing ain't that frequent - lot more fun to ride
                      cons : top end speed has dropped a bit, fuel efficiency might have dropped a bit too (but not to bothered by both), insane pick up (have to be really careful - the front comes up quiet easy now)

                        I believe you have gone for a lesser sprocket size, right? Then how come gear shift ain't that frequent? With smaller sprocket size, since you are hitting the max of every gear more quickly, the gear change should be frequent enough!

                          yup.
                          even i had the same concern in mind. but while riding in the city - don't need to downshift that often anymore. earlier where puttering around in second gear wasn't possible - now the same problem is faced in third gear.
                          also now have started hitting the sixth gear lot more often (and faster psychologically) - earlier 6th gear used to be used only while cruising - and that too with a clear understanding that need to come down a couple of gears if i need to accelerate

                                i have not faced any problem till date. had got the bike serviced by their technician a couple of months back. i suggest you get in touch with the chennai dealership. they have quiet a good stock of bikes with them.
