Aftermarket tuners will always show low power in initial runs by skipping application of standard corrections ( called Raw power).
So that their work is appreciated more.
Secondly there dyno are not calibrated to manufacturer standards. So same bike being dynoed at some other tuning shop might as well show much better bhp.
Its not unheard of loosing 25% power at the wheel of a motorcycle.
Firstly most motorcycle use spur gears to keep weight down and secondly most motorcycle have two chains in power transmission. First engine to gearbox , called primary and second gearbox to wheel.
Each chain will account for nearly 7-10% loss alone.

Dustom_99: The spur gears, are you referring to the ones in the motorcycle gearbox? I'm pretty sure most gearboxes use helical cut gears, to keep noise to a minumum, and also to help meshing smoothly. Though the transmission losses could be the same. So, if this is the case, then can't we dismiss the Street Triple de-tuning case also as being such readouts from the ARAI dynos? Now Triumph has to publish those figures instead of the company figures?

You are right , most gearboxes use helical , but automotive gearboxes as in cars. Not in motorcycles.
Since in motorcycles noise of motorcycle engine+ exhaust is much more than any noise gears could make ( as the rider and engine are both exposed, no engine bay ) it is not required to use quite gears.
Since weight is prime , and spur being lighter & cheaper , they make lot of sense.
Some cruisers use helical profile for 5/6 gears , but most ( 95%) motorcycle use spur.
          Performance bike specially.
But who knows , Honda & Kawasaki could do anything to go that extra mile on engineering front. Lol

And gone are the days when actual gears used to mesh and come out of mesh.
These days whatever the gear ( spur or helix) it is always in a mesh with its counter gear.
So tooth engagement sound is a bygone phenomenon.
These days only synchro rings mesh / or dogs mesh. Which are made of very soft brass alloy to keep sound down

You can see what I'm hinting at. If this is the case with the Z800, maybe even the Street Triple showed 78 bhp on the dyno, though rated at 105 bhp at the crank. If this is the case, then the entire de-tune fiasco can be put to rest.
If that was the case then Triumph wouldn't have had to update their site nor was it necessary for them to ask the customers to read their fine print. Don't you think so? If a 105bhp bike makes 70-80bhp at the wheel then now after the update the 79ish striple would be making around 55 at the wheels. So the case cannot be rested mate.

There are a total of 3 variants in Z800 and 1 in Z800E. Following are specifications:

                        Z800 A/B make 113PS and 83NM of torque.

Z800 A/B HR (Honeycomb Catalytic converter - Restricted model) makes 106PS and 80.5NM

                        Z800 C/D make 95PS and 76 NM

                        Z800 E makes 47PS.

Z800A is non ABS variant and Z800B is an ABS variant with 113PS power which is sold in India. I hope this point makes clear that Kawasaki is not selling 95PS variant here in india.
Your engine number will have AE and frame will have ABDA. Hence engine makes 113PS.

The lower end acceleration is same as stock , after 4000 rpm no comparison , feels quicker . Deceleration popping is same as stock but audible Bcos of louder can
