re: My Honda CBR650F. EDIT: Track Day at BIC on PG-53
Wow!! Congratulations..Originally posted by discover View PostWaiting for my Bike to be delivered, I wanted to get it on April 14th, now that the Karnataka Government has increased the tax to 18% i am getting it this month itself. I should have it by 27th.
Keep us posted.
Of the 2, I would choose the CBR for the sort of riding that I enjoy.Originally posted by nits2507 View PostThnx Rachit.
Well we have taken the test ride on both d bikes. My wife says that CBR is comfortable but is skeptical about long rides. Still contemplating between the two, if we decide to buy the Iron, it will be a used one as the price of a new one is over our budget. My mind still says CBR though!
Best of luck for the purchase!!

Don't buy the Iron... Harley brakes are an issue and their attitude is even worst. But the CBR its a very good bike and you will not face issues on the long run. I did a 100 kms ride recently on my friend's bike and was bowled over. But then I decided to buy the Versys due to its Adventure settings. Should have my bike by 9th April.Originally posted by nits2507 View PostThnx Rachit.

Rachit - Thanks a lot for your help the other day when we spoke over the phone. Your advice did help me a lot in deciding the bike.Last edited by kailashnj; 03-23-2017, 06:31 PM.

Just got my akra yesterday. Heart fell out when a hump scraped it. It might be a scratch but felt very bad about it. Any way to prevent this ? I just increased the suspension stiffness to 3.CBR 650F <02/2017>

Oh!! Sad to hear that bro. Happened with me once also. I had a pillion and didn't judge a speed breaker well. It was minor scratch on the exhaust.
it does pain to see a scratch on such expensive piece of metal although thankfully nobody will see it.
What is your weight, if I may ask. I have not done anything to my suspension.
I just take speed breakers very slowly and I have not faced this after that. I am around 75 KGs.

In that case, with a Pillion you just jack up the Pre-Load and hopefully it should be fine.Originally posted by samarth14feb View PostI weight at 85 [emoji2]wife is around 40.

Yes, CBR650F is already BS4. I too had confirmed this.
