Yes, mine is Gurgaon registered. I think it came under the 8% umbrella. The road tax was around 60K.Originally posted by nits2507 View PostHas anyone registered the bike in Haryana? Wanted to understand the tax structure.

Hello,
Planning to get akra on my 650(lowest quote i got was 75k,does anyone know where i can get it cheap in mumbai/pune)after first service as bike feels too silent. Also, what about warranty in this case? Do i have to keep alternating between stock and akra during service so honda guys dont find out, if that is possible at all

That is around the range that I have heard it to cost in India. You would not get it in India at a substantially lesser price.Originally posted by Nutties View PostHello,

If anybody can bring it along from US, then you can get it cheaper. I got mine from US. I costs 950$ there.
You cannot possibly switch exhausts every time you go for servicing. In my case they were cool. Rather I got mine fitted from them only.
But he did say that they will not entertain extended warranty if you have an aftermarket exhaust. For standard warranty they were ok.
Sales tax is included in the Ex-Showroom price from what I understand. So in my case the Ex-Showroom was 7.3. Out of this if I remember correctly, around 60K was sales tax. Bike's cost was 6.7 Lakhs.Originally posted by nits2507 View PostIs there sales tax you had to pay apart from road tax?

Also, when you got the exhaust from US, did you pay any import duty at the airport? RevZilla is offering akra at $857 as of now and an additional $55 for delivery but not sure about the import duty.

I did not have to pay the Customs on the Exhaust because I brought it in my bag and thankfully nobody checked.
If they would have checked, I am sure they would have charged me.
If you get it shipped, it will attract customs. In that case, better to get it from here only.
The Customs might make it more expensive than what you are getting it here for. I also got it from Revzilla.

Hi,Originally posted by nits2507 View PostHey Rachit, where did u get your frame sliders from and how much did they cost? I checked out riderz planet, they have R&G for some Rs 8500.
I actually bought them directly from the R&G website and got them delivered to a hotel where one of my colleagues was travelling in Brighton, UK. He brought them in his bag to India. R&G is a British outfit. I think they costed me around 9K even in UK also. The sales tax in UK is 25% which got charged to me because I got them shipped to a UK address. If you get them shipped outside of UK, they don't charge this 25% which sort of covers up for the shipping charges atleast.
8500 is a good price in my opinion. Even in US, these costed around 9K.
Excellent service from the R&G website though. He got them delivered in literally 1 day to the hotel.

Wow!! Congratulations!! Keep us posted!!Originally posted by nits2507 View PostFinally booked mine today, 2017 manufactured...Waiting period of 1 month!
The most painful period of my life has started, counting every second!
Any specific reason you are not waiting for the new model to get launched in the country?
From what I have heard, it should be launched here by August time frame.Originally posted by dilipkumar7278 View PostAny updates regarding 2017 cbr650f launch?
