    From what I have seen, they generally only do 1 bike in a day most days.

      A dream come true - My Honda CBR650F. EDIT: 4th Service update on page 36

      I am looking for a good exhaust mod. Akrapovic here is 82k and two brothers Tarmac at 90k. Seriously giving a second thought whether i am ready to invest so heavily on exhausts :/ main reason I bought an inline 4 is for that sound though. Anyone aware of cheaper solutions ?

        Well, most good quality after market exhausts will be expensive. Although generally Slip On End Cans are cheaper.
        The problem with CBR650F is that the OEM exhaust is 2 pieces, which means you cannot have a Slip On exhaust. You can only have a Full System and Full Systems are expensive that is why Akra and Two brothers cost this much. Z800 can take Slip on exhausts, I think.

        You can cut the OEM exhaust and fit any generic Slip On if you want, it will be cheaper. But it will not be properly tuned system for your specific model and instead of improving performance, it can actually negatively impact it too.

          That's true these exhausts are 20k cheaper in US. will see if someone can grab one from there.

            Do checkout revzilla, they are really supportive and give good insight, order it through the website if someone's going to the states , you can order n pick it up I spose.

              Yes. Revzilla is good. I bought a pair of frame sliders from them when my friend was in US. must wait n see if anyone is travelling to US.

                Yup, Even after such a dip in the value of rupee to dollar, these exhausts are still cheaper in US.

                Revzilla is just wonderful. I have bought a lot of my gear from them when I visited US. I had to return 1 item too because of incorrect sizing and their return procedure was so simple and easy that I was completely blown away. I would highly recommend Revzilla to anybody shopping in US.

                  The chain sprocket and chain wont come as a pack.
                  front sprocket, rear Sprocket and Chain three parts.
                  They totally cost 13.5K as they have said in Coimbatore/ Chennai Service center.

                  Brake pads will cost 8.5K for all the three disc (including rear)

                  For the tyres, my rear tyre has started showing signs of wear and Tyre. From the looks, it does seem that there is about another 2K life left in them, but they have started giving up grip and confidence while cornering. I might end up getting them changed in a couple of months. I have 2-3 options in my mind for the replacement. Lets see what I get finally. But the price for the set should be in the 20-25K ballpark.

                    Thank you for the info. Will keep these expenses in mind. The Chain set does seem to be expensive.
                    Not sure how much the good after market stuff cost. After market good brake pads cost in the same price range.

                    Michelin Pilot Road 4 will Satisfy your need i guess. (will cost around 20K in Chennai)

                    Pilot Road 4 is definitely one of the options. A friend is running them on a ZX10.
                    Pirelli Angel GT is also one option, a friend is running them on ninja 650 and is very happy. They are sportier than PR4.
                    Metzeller M7 is very similar to Angel GTs and is one option too.

                    I have not decided which one's I would go for yet.

                      Since you have your ASC nearer to the Honda Wing world, it would be a special care for you and your bike
                      Well the scenario is entirely different in CHENNAI and COIMBATORE (Honda and Suzuki)
                      They should open a dedicated Super bike showroom/ service center, thus they will get a good sales in south too!

                        Yeah, The only issue I have with the PR4 is the looks. Lets see what I get.

                          Hey Rachit, just wanted to confirm, does the bike get very hot in bumper 2 bumper traffic like the Iron 883?
                          And how is the ride in terms of pillion comfort? Me and my wife are stuck between the iron and the cbr just because of the pillion comfort...Ur views would be appreciated.

                            I have not ridden the Iron 883, so unfortunately I wouldn't be able to draw a comparison.
                            Secondly, this is a very debatable topic, because everybody has his own threshold of considering something hot.

                            In my opinion, the CBR does get hot. You keep standing in 2-3 traffic lights and the fan will start blowing in full swing.
                            I have been stuck in 30-45 mins long bumper to bumper traffic in summers as well, the bike didn't stop or overheat but it was hot.
                            The only comparison I can draw is Panigale 899, because I saw that one heating up once. 899 just gets way too hot too soon. CBR is better than 899.
                            Also I think Ninja650 is better than CBR650F in this department. The ninja does not heat up as much.

                            The pillion seat of the CBR650F is pretty comfortable, although its a sportish bike not sure how fair it is to compare pillion comfort with a cruiser like Iron.

                            My best suggestion is for you to test ride. Take your partner along and then ask for her feedback. The Wings dealer in Nariana has 2 test ride bikes.

                              Waiting for my Bike to be delivered, I wanted to get it on April 14th, now that the Karnataka Government has increased the tax to 18% i am getting it this month itself. I should have it by 27th.

                                Well we have taken the test ride on both d bikes. My wife says that CBR is comfortable but is skeptical about long rides. Still contemplating between the two, if we decide to buy the Iron, it will be a used one as the price of a new one is over our budget. My mind still says CBR though!
