I did not specifically ask them about CB650, but I didn't hear anything from them.
This past weekend, they had organized an event where a lot of bikers were invited and test rides for CBR650F were given and stuff.
I had very good discussion with them and Honda Africa Twin came up, new Fireblade came up, new CBR650F came up. But the CB650 didn't. I will admit, I didn't specifically ask for it, but they also didn't mention anything about it.

Ahh the new fire blade? That's good to know, the bike looks absolutely amazing and fantastic on paper too, and Africa twin is for the versys 1000,vstrom 1000,tiger1200, multistrada , etc I wonder where it will be priced.Originally posted by rachitkdogra View PostHi Friend,

I didn't ask about the pricing. But I know that they have decided on the pricing for both. They were about to give the pricing to one probable Fireblade customer who might end up getting the first one in the country when it gets launched. I didn't want to make them uncomfortable by asking detailed questions which i shouldn't be knowing.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostAhh the new fire blade? re: My Honda CBR650F. EDIT: Track Day at BIC on PG-53
Test rode the CBR today, post 4000 rpm, absolutely love the sound, but as many mentioned I was disappointed with the positioning if the indicator and horn also could not find the pass light also there must have been a gear indicator. I felt the brakes were not as strong, definitely steel braided brake lines will help, my right started to hurt , probably because of the pillion and traffic condition. But the stock exhaust tho silent, sounds sweet, I'd imagine the akra or any other good after market exhaust sounds much better. Bike does feel slightly heavy, I am kinda liking the street triple because of its weight and flickability, yet to get a TD , triumph recently stopped giving in Chennai , not sure why. The z is definitely too heavy for me, I'm keeping the ceeber, street triple and Kawasaki's ninja 650 as a future upgrade.

Your observations are pretty consistent with others in my opinion.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostTest rode the CBR today, post 4000 rpm, absolutely love the sound, but as many mentioned I was disappointed with the positioning if the indicator and horn also could not find the pass light also there must have been a gear indicator. Also please bear in mind on such a bike, a pillion behind you changes the behavior of the bike dramatically like weight, brakes and agility etc.
The Low/High beam switch has an integrated Pass Light switch as well.
The Street Triple is stopped in India because the new one is around the corner. If it is not detuned or not majorly retuned, it will be my top picks too.
The new Ninja 650 also looks really good on the paper. Waiting eagerly for the reviews and if priced well, can be serious threat in this segment.
Best of luck!!

Probably cause its a test ride bike, somethings were not upto the standard obviously but will wait for the 2017 model, but I got a quotation of rs 816000, if its a 2016 model I think it should be a good 75k-90k right? But yes I need a ride without pillion and better roads to get a feel on the bike, still I feel they are overcharging if its a 2016 model, many mentioned they offered a 75k-90k discount.Originally posted by rachitkdogra View PostYour observations are pretty consistent with others in my opinion.

re: My Honda CBR650F. EDIT: Track Day at BIC on PG-53
I've seen quite a lot of reviews of the 650 ceeber and most of them say its a bit "buzzy", as in noisier than the other counterparts like FZ6 etc. As users, what do you guys have to say about that. I've not listened to a 650f upfront. This is hard to believe though...
