Yes they take care of the custom duty by undervaluing the product on the packaging.Originally posted by nits2507 View PostHas anybody ordered from AliExpress? Do they take care of the custom duty?
Out of 25+ orders I have completed through AliExpress, only once was I charged custom duty. This was on one of the SJCAMs I purchased. Strangely, the other two times I bought the same camera, no duty was charged.

The quality ranges from 'superb' to 'very decent' to 'usable'Originally posted by nits2507 View PostHow is the quality of the products? I was thinking of ordering a pair of levers...Do they deliver it within the mentioned time frame?
Frankly, I haven't had any really bad experiences till now. However, I would strongly recommend that you check the reviews and ratings of the product and the seller before ordering to minimise risk, especially as returns are an absolute nightmare. Suggest you sort by 'number of orders' on the product search and buy from prolific sellers.
Almost all orders will get delivered within a period of 30-35 days, although I've had instances of receiving them within 3 weeks.

Hey,
Although it is completely about personal preferences, so I would just suggest what I think.
I think the stock levers on the bike are pretty good. I have a had a couple of minor falls, and they stood strong and didn't break while taking the impact.
If it would have been some not so good one's, they would have broken and riding the bike back home would have been a problem.
My recommendation is get after market levers only if you feel stock levers are not suited to the size of your hand.
But again, its personal preferences so even if you do decide to get them, no issues at all. I just wanted to share my experience with the stock one's.
CHEERS!!

Hey guys...i am in plan to buy 650f (manufactured in 2017 - bs4 norms)...OTR around 8.2 lacs.. on checking with dealer, they told no news on 2017 650f launch...does anyone have any update of 2017 version 650f launch in India and expected price.. pls advise...
PS - Price for 2017 may be 50k to 1 lac more than current one I think, considering 2017 has bigger air intakes, led lights, a little more growl to sound..

Hey, the new model is expected somewhere around September with a price tag of close to 7.75 ex-delhi, which is a bump of aprox 45k. Even I have booked the current model but 2017 mfg with a good discount. Expecting delivery in May.Originally posted by SBK4life View PostHey guys...i am in plan to buy 650f (manufactured in 2017 - bs4 norms)...OTR around 8.2 lacs.. on checking with dealer, they told no news on 2017 650f launch...does anyone have any update of 2017 version 650f launch in India and expected price.. pls advise...

re: My Honda CBR650F. EDIT: Track Day at BIC on PG-53
Hi Fellow Bhpians,
Well i have been riding an enfield for last 16 years and always wanted to buy a sports bike. Finally i have decided to go ahead and change that dream into reality. After almost a month of reading and going through all the reviews finally have decided to go with a CBR out of the two inline options which i was considering the other being 600i.To be honest i always had a thing towards the faired beasts when compared to the naked ones however the only major attraction towards the 600i was the obvious exhaust note which i guess was again better with IXILs.Finally after reading and going through all the details i believe going with a Honda is a long term thing from a quality standpoint.Few questions i had in mind about the warranty on the CBR, wouldn't the warranty get void on installing an after market exhaust? Also if anyone can help me with latest update on the pricing of the bike post 31st March as from what i have read the discounts were only being offered till end of March. I still have time as i am planning to buy the bike by the 3rd quarter(Arranging for the finances till then) but now after reading about the lauch of 2017 version i am a little skeptical of the fact if the prices will remain same till then.
- OTR Delhi?
- Has anyone opted for a finance option if yes kindly share the details as when i spoke with the Benelli guys the rate of interest that HDFC is offering is 14% reducing which is on an extremely higher side(Not spoken with the Honda people yet)
Thanks,
Rahat

Hey Rahat, congrats on getting one step closer to your dream by zeroing in on the final choice. Being a Honda and going by the reviews world over, I am sure CBR will not disappoint any of us as far as the reliability is concerned.Originally posted by Rahat Sharma View PostHi Fellow Bhpians,

Even I have just booked the bike (2017 mfg), almost 10 days back with the same discount that was being offered earlier on the 2016 model.
The new version is expected to be launched somewhere in Aug or Sep with a price increase of close to 45-50k ex showroom.
Not really sure of the finance options available.

Hey thanx for the reply buddy. So in your case what was the final quote given by the dealer and are they still offering discount on the bike?Originally posted by nits2507 View PostHey Rahat, congrats on getting one step closer to your dream by zeroing in on the final choice.
