    Ok. Thanks brother..

Tail Tidy makes it look no less sportier than 600RR. Bike looks amazing.

Yeah, tail tidy does make the wide rear tyre and shorter tail of the bike come out nicely.

          Thank you for the compliment.

Looks nice Rachit. But how is the mud throw on the pillion seat. Did you drive through a wet road ?

I did not ride through a wet road but yes a couple of times through some water puddles and honestly, ITS BAD.
You wouldn't want to be on the pillion seat if it raining. Forget about pillion, I think even the rider will get decent spray.

As of now it does not seem to be a huge issue for me. There is rarely going to be a pillion with me especially if its raining.
This is more of a weekend ride for me, So I don't plan on doing a lot of rides when it rains.

A couple of times here and there should be okay.

Wow!! she looks sexy as hell.. yea the tail tidy will spray a lot of water on the back of a rider or pillion(if any), but when it doesn't, you will love your bike more than anything...

                      Dear All,

Just wanted to say that any super bike and even other 200+ cc sporty bikes will cause this problem of spraying the mud onto rider or pillion during rainy season.

It is inevitable. Our infrastructure never ever considers poor motorcyclists as legitimate users of the road and nothing is geared towards making their lives easy.

                      But anyway, the choices are:
                      a) Keep waiting for our infra to become like developed countries - only then buy such sporty bikes (anything from Pulsar 200NS onwards!)
                      b) Buy whatever is your dream bike as long as it is legally available in India - don't worry about the roads or any other conditions - just live with them and ride to your best capability while maintaining safety for self and others
                      c) Frequently travel abroad and ride rental super bikes only on those beautiful roads that we otherwise end up seeing only in magazines or movies
                      d) Don't ride bikes - it is impractical and only for bike-crazy people like me and others on this forum - just travel in cars/public transport

Now - I personally would never like a/c/d options...So I chose (b) You choose yours

I don't think there could be anything more suited for India than this!
                        Feeling so envious right now

BTW will you keep it for a long time (4-5 years)?
I am asking cuz I don't understand why people get bored of superbikes, when they are virtually perfect and have unlimited modding options!

What response do you get on the road? Are people irritated by its exhaust sound (music for us guys)?

Yes, the plan as of now is to keep this for long, at least 5 years.
I don't think people get bored of super bikes. They might get bored with a certain genre of bikes and want to try different types of bikes. Some people actually want to upgrade as their skills improve.

So my bike is on stock exhaust and it is very quite, so no bothering the neighbors.

But I have received good reactions from people on the road so far. People want to know about the bike, the cost and of course the average.
You do get good attention on the road. But here is a thing, in my opinion when you are getting such attention I feel all the more responsible to behave on the road to set a good example.

                            Hi Rachit,

Just couple of things based on my recent experiences...As I ride my Street Triple almost daily in night-marish Hinjewadi peak traffic Home->Office->Home

                            1) When in heavy traffic on such a super bike, please be conscious of not banging your mirrors or indicators against other slow moving vehicles which may come too close to you from both sides -
                            2) Some crazy folks on their 100-150 cc bikes will surely try to race you...avoid getting provoked as long as there is bumper to bumper traffic and there is not even few hundred meters of open stretch...
                            3) Beware of large speed breakers! There is a realistic danger of stalling your bike just on the slope of speed breaker when we are too cautious and slow while climbing the bump and banging the bottom of your bike if you reach the bump too quickly and end up braking hard when front wheel is climbing onto the bump...Both Triumph ST and CBR 650F are surely vulnerable on large speed brakers - especially with pillion rider.
                            4) Try to keep more distance in vehicle next to you and yourself - I know you got very good brakes with ABS - but others don't have it on their bikes! If you ride close to next car/bike and they stop suddenly, then you can easily stop suddenly without banging into them - but the guy/girl behind you may not prevent banging into you...So allow gradual braking for yourself so that you don't surprise guy behind you.
                            5) Any overtaking should be completed in a split-second only. If you overtake gradually, then you can always get nasty surprise by other vehicle also trying to speed (khunnas!!) or they may randomly switch lanes and cause you problems..Either you overtake really quick when you have enough margin - or you just stay behind at a proper distance...
                            6) If you indulge in traffic light GP (ok, admit it - sometimes it is indeed going to happen!) and if you have a pillion, clearly inform the pillion before signal goes green that you plan to go fast on green - and pillion should place hands around you and his/her palms should rest on PETROL TANK - he/she should not really grab your body with their hands!
Both should crouch a bit forward and not be too straight up - and then zoom off - within few meters you will need to slow down quite quickly as the next traffic light approaches - then you will realize what I am saying. Pressure will not come on your body from the pillion - but he/she will be able to remain stable due to their palms on petrol tank.

Hope you find this useful :-)
