    Thank you very much brother..
    Hey Rachit,

My TST - which I call "Red Rose" is doing good..I am planning to get rid of the eye sore called Saree Guard tomorrow and hopefully order protective sliders for fork/frame/swing arm from Triumph...

Do you have any recommendations about that?

Also one more thing - when I purchased my bike, I wanted to buy a bike cover from them - but they said they have broken tie-up with previous cover maker as those covers caused some amount of scratching on petrol tank with prolonged usage. Right now there is no cover available @ Triumph showroom.

I surely didn't want cheap cover for this bike.

I came across this particular cover and have ordered it - only time will tell whether this money is well spent or not. I inquired and got reply from Bachoo Motors (Zulfikar) that L size should fit TST alright. This is supposed to be fleece lined from inside and won't scratch. It appears to be a fairly popular brand in Australia. Will let you know once I actually use it for few days - yet to receive it here...

I use that cover everyday for my bike and it's brilliant. Have 2 of them, so when I wash one the other one keeps her warm.

Triumph makes sliders for the street. You could also look into R&G those are top notch. I have Puig and Rizoma's for my bike and they good and strong as well. Plus the Rizoma's look aesthetically gorgeous.

Auto Impex in Mumbai should be able to sort you out for Puig and Rizoma. Performance racing store stocks R&G.

I don't remember how much I paid for the Puig sliders, which I got from Auto Impex. But for the rizoma, engine guard was 15,500 and crankcase for 8k. The Rizoma I got from Bikegear.in, genuine guy and really good and clean with his transactions.

And got the radiator and oil cooler R&G guards from performance racing store.

          These are the following numbers,

          - Bikegear +91 90-24-901313

          - PRS +91 22-65879696

          - Tushar auto Impex +91 99-20-799586

          Hope this helps. Cheers

I have the exact same cover and in size Large too. I like this cover and would recommend it.
I think size Large should be good for the Red Rose as well.

                    Hay Rachit,

Your ownership journey is a treat to eyes to read. Even i bought CBR650F couple of months back and have driven approximately 2000 kms till now. Have not done any modifications as of now and plan to add frame sliders and radiator guard from R&G. I am waiting for some one to come from UK to get these for me.

Couldn't drive much from the past 1 month due to rains in Bengaluru. Hope to take it for long drive during this month end vacations.

Thank you very much brother for your kind words.

Heartiest Congratulations on your CBR650F. From what I know yours is the third one on the forum. Do share your ownership thread with us. Will help the tribe grow.

I have done close to 3300 Kms by now.

Regarding ordering R&G, I think you can order from them and get it delivered in India as well. From what I understood from their website if you get it delivered outside of UK, they dont charge you 25% VAT which is considerable amount and can cover up for your shipping.

Here is a scenario: If you order something worth 10000 and you get it shipped in UK and somebody brings it for you, you pay 2500 VAT. If you get it delivered in India you dont pay this VAT and your International Shipping from what I got was around 3K. So not a lot of extra money. The only challenge is the customs. Here also what I have got, certain shipment carriers (probably UK mail and then India Post office) might not go to customs. You might have to do some research there.

I would certainly recommend calling R&G once. I called them 2-3 times and they were very helpful.

                      Regards

Thanks Rachit. Will surely start ownership thread once I get some free time. By the way, in Bengaluru we have close to 11 people now who have bought this bike.
Thanks for the tip regarding R&G. Will e-mail them and get more details.

Here in Bengaluru, the Honda folks started offering extended warranty for CBR650F. Cost is INR 2399 if taken before 90 days of your vehicle sale else INR 2699. So totally 5 years of engine warranty will be covered (2 Yrs initially and 3 Yrs extended warranty). The same conditions apply for the extended warranty as it is for the initial 2 years. I will go ahead and opt for it. Peace of mind .

Wow!! All those CBRs in one shot look awesome!!

Thank you for letting me know of the Extended Warranty. Its a great thing and I am really glad that Honda is offering it on the bike.
I think CBR650F will be the only big bike which has an extended warranty offered on it. Not sure about the Triumphs.

I will check with my dealer here and will surely opt in as it does provide you the peace of mind!!

Congrats on the purchase. Didn't think there would be so many 650Fs in Bangalore alone. Delhi has a small group of 6 riders afaik.
