    I would suggest you not to fiddle with the bike's electronics and take off the ABS. This will also void your bike's warrenty. (If you are seriously thinking of getting rid of the ABS) Don't think of sacrificing a life saving tech like ABS for a mere useless stoppie!!

        I didn't doubt that.. just thought of sharing my views too...

        And buddy buy a DOT approved helmet asap.. it will give you real protection & more comfort at high speeds. DOT really doesn't mean anything in India (its like ISI mark of the west) but helmets approved by it are better.. Buy Sparx or KBC if you don't wanna spend too much they start at 4k i guess..

          @Fireblah: Is the new Fireblade noisier than the older ones? I have seen few videos and this blade sound a little harsher than the older ones. Is it so?

            I have no idea leon. Most of the times i am freaking out that there is something wrong with the bike. But the engine sound has not changed since the biginning. I was in 4th gear that time at around 120 kmph.
            See the video in this link YouTube - Honda Fireblade: ABS v non-ABSwhich abhishek gave. Got a couple of screaming firblades. Mine sound just like them ....Lemme know what you think, or i'll start bugging honda again !

              Vishal...i couldnt hear much of your engine note in your video...but i guess it must be perfectly fine..honda engine are ment to be rock solid...you cannot distroy them....but if you still have doubt about it...just check out other bikes from the HONDA...im sure they would clear your doubts..!!
              And yes the CBR sounds amazing..!! The engine note is just beautiful... !!

                              more like .. Aila ! cyclone ! ayee hata hata ... yeah man it has hit the city bad ... roads are dangerous now... cross winds , trees!
                              Trees all over the roads so many of them ... its sad to see that. Kolkata lost lots of them today ... and the forecast is bad for tomorrow !

                                I guess the new Blade's a lil bit gruntier than the old ones. Hondas don't screw up easily . So don't worry. Enjoy the beauty. It is really a beautiful machine. Although I envy the new blade owners but moreover I am happy that Honda pulled off such a beautiful looking bike . Enjoy !!! And please keep the bike safe. I don't care if you fly in Aila () but not the blade . Jk !!!
