Yeah i like it too... sad R1 has one .. and its poorly designed/made cause its done in India.
Anyway, manual for Fireblade comes in 6 languages. There are 2 books, 3 languages each. So one book is useless... But it sure has ENGLISH !
Umm, on that note, i would like to share a page of the manual.
Wanted to share this before... kinda interesting whats written...

Check out May issue of Bike India ... This hotness is on the cover page !!

                      • Hey

If the Indian FireBlade doesn't have the saree guard and front number plate, then how was the homologation completed? I thought your blade didn't have the number plate and the saree guard coz you had it removed in Delhi itself?

I seriously dont know this. Maybe honda was able to infuse some sense into the authorities for the saree guard. And about no. plate ... no idea mate ..

                          • Hey, just remembered this, most SBKs have a problem in India- Dust and heat. How does the bike cope with heat? If you've read KenDa's and Rossiter's texts, The R1 gets pretty hot and you soak through your jeans if you're barely 5 minutes in traffic. So comparatively how does the blade cope? At what temp. does the fan kick in? And does the chassis get hot too?

Secondly the dust. I know a lil bit of this, coz I've got an R15 (full fairing) and dust forms a layer on all the surfaces (cleaning is a real pain). But any special care or pointers? And when is the airfilter due for cleaning according to the manual?

Oh, and a real vital question- have you taken anybody as pillion yet? If yes, how was the bike with a pillion, and how was the pillion after the ride?
                            You get the point?? :D

Yes I have read atleast one of the posts. Well, the blade too gets hot. Specially in the day time when the sun is up and there is slow moving traffic. Fan kicks in around 85 degrees i think.
Yes the frame gets hot, and the rider gets hotter !
At the end of a day time ride, I feel like a boiled egg (no need for a sauna now )
Air filter is advised to be cleaned at 18k Km and then 36k Kms, if the conditions are dusty, then more frequently.
Pillion, of course... hehe pillions are a bit shaken after the first ride.. they need to hold the rider properly I remember my first time as one on the blade... still don't wanna sit behind

@ ACE_HUNTER: a picture of the digi cockpit @ night ... here it is ace ...
