Well bout the issue i can say its coz oh the 2 if the mixture is going rich i think they have 2 of them in the Catcon maybe one could go bad. So other part is i ill advise to use 91 octane as all the superbikes are tuned to 91 not 93,97,110 if u need to use the higher octanes valve angle has to be adjusted so never mind u r not going that far as its a new bike. Hope this helps you in boosting up heheh
      Thanks mate,
The bike is designed for 95 octane fuel... this was told to me by honda. But as old fox has told me and i believe it too , any fuel is ok for these bikes, and i dont think the problem is due to octane level of some fuel... still lets see, i am just waiting for tomorrow. Hope the honda techie does some magic !

yeah.. the famous 800 cc for mangoes law ... But on second thoughts, couldn't thye be imported as CKD's? HMSI has a pretty good infrastructure here to integrate the 400 into it's assembly lines.

btw - take care of the blade. sad to see it out of action!

                  • Hello all ,
Today was a looong day ... woke up this morning, and was just waiting for the Honda guys... they came at around 10:30 am .. their flight from Delhi was at 7 am.
Anyways, they came, opened the bike up, reached the ECU of the bike, wires, connectors, etc etc . Did basic checks, engine oil , air filter, chain etc
Then they disconnected all the connections, connected them back firmly.
There were four distinct connectors .. each for four of the fuel injectors....
they said this later.. one of them was loose.., I was like "thats it !!??? "
And my little wonder was back ...
Somehow i am still not convinced that its fixed 100% but anyway we all went for a ride and no one, including me was able to pinpoint if anything is still wrong. Psychological, i think
Anyways, fingers crossed..... life is good !

                            • Some of the pictures taken today...

The tank you see above is the real tank of the bike, the tank visible normally is actually a fiber cover. Still the finish of the inside tank is so nice that it can go without its cover !

Chandan (Honda tech. in red) is holding the tank cover. Notice how they are wearing gloves? Thats the kind of care they take while handling bikes... Its such a relief to know that your baby is in good hands
