The acceleration of the bike has dropped alot.... dunno what happened, out of the blue....
The sound of the engine used to change at around 4k rpm, a valve in the exhaust can used to open.... it still opens, i think at higher RPMs, but anyway, at that rpm, there used to be a boost in acceleration, (almost like the thrust button in street hawk
) .. but sadly that has gone... out of the blue, thats gone....
I spoke to Old Fox about it , but resetting the CPU did not work. A local car mechanic was saying he could smell petrol in the exhaust...
Pray the engine is safe........ i just wanna crawl into a hole, hibernate and come out only when the bike is fixed !!

Don't worry Vishal....the smell of petrol occurs if you have unburnt fuel in the exhaust gases. Happens when the engine is cold and also happens if the engine is running rich for some reason. (also consistent with your saying that the mileage has dropped). Probably the ECU is getting some spurious input from one of the sensors....check it out with the Honda people. Call them and ask them whether continuing to ride will have any detrimental effect, which I don't think is the case. If it is all right at their end, then at least you can ride the bike till they come and fix the issue.I don't let my motorcycles interfere with my motorcycling...

@Fireblah: From what I've read, the valve in the exhaust is supposed to pop open at higher revs.
Not sure if it'd open up at 4k revs. That's not high enough even by Indian-single-cylinder-moped standards let alone a litre class stomper.
Im keeping my fingers crossed for HMSI to fix up your 'Little wonder' super-quick !
