Thanks ...

; so was busy with it. And yeah..... baroda is a decent city.... and there are a lot of SBK owners here..... i have even seen a Repsol edition of CBR here. All in all it is not too big, not too small and has a Cosmo crowd largely. Do let me know if you come around here. Do PM me if you want to know anything else.

four japs
Four japs met one night for a ride together......
Introducing a new citizen of Kolkata...

At a fuel pump for air, but the air department was closed
Ninja and R15 joined me at my home in saltlake. I was eating dinner when i got a call, "we are at your home already". So i got changed and rushed down and then we rode together towards rajarhat. I was wondering where 600 is and just before entering new town area, the CBR 600 joined us too....
Was a rainy day, but by night time roads were fast drying up and it was cool. Amazing weather for a ride.
We went till the airport and came back. Dunno why but whenever security personnel spot a bike around the airport, they get alert. But this time more than just security people got alert... The CBR 600 makes one hell of a sound which even scared me the same night while it zoomed past me..... I wanted to take pictures at the airport as well, but decided not to for security reasons

Ninja developed a little problem of stalling at idle. There is a little knob on the right side for adjusting the idle rpm. I was quite surprised as I thought on FI engines, ECU does all this...Last edited by fireblah; 09-01-2009, 02:32 PM.May the torque be with you..

@ Fireblah- was it the same knob we were twiddling with near the airport?
P.S.- Suzuki!! I smell something...!! Do let me know in case you guys head out....!!
Yup, the Ninja is the 2008 model, parallel twin, 70 odd horsepower. Really cool bike. Very practical for Kolkata. Has ample power, excellent stoppers (twin 320mm wavy discs) and 'mota chakka' people keep cribbing about....
You get the point?? :D

Guys I need something to protect the surface of the bike. Lately I have seen lots of scratches on the paint... The micro ones which are formed due to dusting etc.....
Something like that . Also I wonder where do the people who do things like Teflon coating, get that stuff from ?

Teflon coating is of no use. You could get Lacquor Spray coating done. This is very good. Seals the shine of the paint job. I had the teflon coating done on my Opel Corsa. it only helps to repel water and dust. Then I go my car laquor coating. Even after 8 years the car looks as if out of the show room. Scratches are only on the lacquor coating not on the paint Job. In Bangalore only 2 parties were having this facility. one was in Kammanahalli where I got the job done ( forgot the name, some thing like eagle coats or so) and the other was MRF. you can check out the picture of the car in the Team BHP Stickers section.Originally posted by fireblah View PostYeah, same knob.. @ Fireblah...
Neat pictures man. Its so crazy to see how small the Fireblade is. It looks as big as the 600RR. No wonder it tops all the performance charts. What an amazing package Honda have put together." RIDE In Peace MARCO #58"
