Second time ? First time it fell outside a mall. We had no idea that it had. Noticed a scratch while washing the bike, only then realized that it had....Originally posted by abhishek.murdeshwar View PostWhen did it fall for second time..?
Second time it was outside a bank, as i have posted earlier.
LOL, I hate telling people to keep their hands off the bike.... but guess will have to be stern..Originally posted by Jonak View PostCompletely agreed.
Just do not leave the bike alone. Remember what we told when we went Wellington. We said that the bike is on side stand so please do not touch. You can see it but you can't touch it.
That reminded me few lines of a song.
'My Hump' by The black eyed peas.
here it goes.
"Tryin' a feel my hump, hump.
Lookin' at my lump, lump.
You can look but you can't touch it,
If you touch it I'ma start some drama,
You don't want no drama,
No, no drama, no, no, no, no drama
So don't pull on my hand boy,
You ain't my man, boy,
I'm just tryn'a dance boy,
And move my hump."
P.S - Replace Hump + Lump with blade.
I have no idea from where to get this teflon thingie. Please tell me if you know of any brand. From what i have found teflon belongs to a company called Dupont. That true ?Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostYes, Fireblah bro, do take good care of the 'Blade.
BTW Have you tried some Teflon Coating or something similar? My friend has it on Karizma, it was easily removed later on, and the bike looks totally new even after 3-4 years...
and also, Who's that Shirtless guy, in the right side of first photo? Is he poor or trying to be stylish?
The shirt less guy is just a spectator....
May the torque be with you..

Though this discussion belongs to the Riding Gear section, you could head over to the Cramster Store. I don't think specific riding jackets for ladies is available from them though. But I have seen ladies wearing their jackets comfortably.Originally posted by dreamchaser View Postme and my wife does rides on our R1,some short 80-90 km and some long 160 km and she sometimes is soo relaxed that she says she might take a nap!!its only the rides in the city on the dio which gives her backpain!!!....she is my best pillion so far...no cries no panicking...she just sits there even if i rip to a 190+!!really hard to find such kind of a pillion rider and this one is there with me all through my life!!!she has a full face helmet and gloves but no jacket as of yet...do you guys know any site or shop in bangalore which sells riding jackets for ladies??
You might just be disappointed from the 'relaxation' on the Blade after your transfer from the mad crazy Gixxer.Originally posted by JOSH5898 View Post@ fireblah... dude after going thru ur thread and riding my friend's blade am seriously considering to buy one... though i love my Gixxer.. the blade sure is getting on my mind now.

Stick with the gixxer and save yourself some money mate! you wont be able to push your bike anywhere near its limits on indian roads, and i mean perfectly tarmaced corners. they are just as good as each other in a straight line, except the new r1 which has trackable power that you can put down early in a corner. unless you are on a racetrack scrapig pegs, it wont really be much fun , plus its a bit of a fatty

well as far as the indian road scenarios are concerned i don't think i need to worry about pushing it to the limits... was just trying to sell it and get another so that i get to ride different SBKs ... but now after getting views form fellow bikers am sticking to the Gixxer for the time being.

I really don't know of Teflon brands, but yes, The Hero Honda showroom of my city gets them installed with 2 years Warranty... and Maruti Car showroom too.Originally posted by fireblah View PostI have no idea from where to get this teflon thingie. On a Karizma it costs some Rs. 500, on a car (Wagon R) about Rs. 2000. Since your city is a bigger one, you may get it done for some 1000 bucks or so. One of my friends, got it done on his Karizma.
And after installing, it is "human-scratch" proof, unless the posers get blades and swords. (which is quite unlikely)

the teflon coating is the best thing to do to save our rides from these posers and its from dupont but i doubt if the honda guys would do it at the showroom... may be you check out with them otherwise you can get it done from any good accessories dealer in your city.. it costs around 2k.
