this phot thing is making me suspicious.
I got a call from Prakash honda the Noida showroom pepole they wanted pics for thier showroom
I also get calls from the Globus honda in delhi the chaps who have registerd my bike ( i though it was for the same thing) then i realized these dealers are taking hte pic for their respective showroom and have got the data base / suggestion from the company to put them up.
Looks like a focus advertising feature for the showroom and dealers.

Thanks for the pictures! I am wondering why are they using the kind of lights they are. Seems like basic fluorscent tri-lux lights with a cloth diffuser - they appear to be kept at a distance from the bike, so wonder if they make any difference at all in broad daylight.Originally posted by fireblah View PostHonda is taking pictures of its big bikes+ the owners all around India. They were here at my home today, so we took ALOT of pictures...

These are flash lights, thats for sure. The lights are triggered by a wireless device mounted on one of the cameras. The bike was in shade and extra light always helps.Originally posted by bluevolt View PostThanks for the pictures! I am wondering why are they using the kind of lights they are. Rides ????? Trips ???? Logs !!!

You know the dialogue "sar pe kafan bandh ke nikalna"
Riding a superbike on Kolkata roads is like that. Guess most of India is like that, but whatever. Its scary
I am saying this because seriously, I have so much fear in my head that I refrain from taking the bike out. Whenever I look at the bike keys kept at the table, the first thing that comes in my mind is a Wagon R that had braked in front of me to a dead stop because he had missed a turn!, a calf (from amongst thousands) who suddenly decides to to cross the road and beat a superbike to that, cyclists who take advantage of their amazing turning radius and take a turn faster than a particular cross plane crankshaft famed bike!!
People do not know that an object can travel faster that 60kmph (speed limit in cities) and use this principle when they cross the road.
But having said all this, I will still take the bike out for the days when I miss her...(that i always do
)
I wanna go for a long ride, but its jinxed. Last two attempts have failed. Hope to break that soon though... until then, stay tuned !!May the torque be with you..

Everytime you hit the road...ur lucky stars follow you.. you never know what will happen next...! No matter how safe..slow...carefully you ride...you are not guaranteed of riding back home safe..
