As Rossiter said, it will take some time for these guys to get used to servicing bikes like this. These are just initial hiccups. Does not mean that Honda is not paying attention to its service and support for these bikes.Originally posted by mav1234 View Post

No they did not, and actually its quite big for me .... Yes, thebike always needs a good wash. Maybe if I was some place like europe, it wont need one so frequently...Originally posted by Bladerunner View PostDid they ask you for your size before sending the jacket?
The bike needs a good wash, which should have been done before the service. Now it will wash away the chain lube.
Not noticeable at low speeds/rpm, but I feel at higher speed/RPMs, it has got slightly smoother. Overall, there is not much of difference.Originally posted by Jonak View PostO great!!!!

Yes you are right. But as the engineer showed up at 9 am and with no info about his arrival time, I did not get time for washing....
Anyways, next time ...

It was used for lubing as well as some protection from rusting. But being in a coastal area where humidity is very high all year round, rusting cannot be prevented.Originally posted by SandycoreBiker View Post@Fireblah: Was only Castrol chain wax used to lube your chain or it was used more for protection over some other chain lube?
I do not know if castrol chain wax is better than any other chain lube, but I am sure looking for it and gonna use it in future

Mr Ashok is a really nice chap he had to leave for your place the same eveing he serviced my bike, very careful with the stuff.
i see that you have switched to synthetic oil do let us know if you see and improvment in gear change and clutch operation. also does your bike make a clank sound on engaging the first gear after this?

Yes, the clank sound is always there... And I feel no difference after synthetic oil. Did about 300 Kms after the oil change and no difference....Originally posted by bunnymarwaha View PostMr Ashok is a really nice chap he had to leave for your place the same evening he serviced my bike, very careful with the stuff.

Hi mates.. nice to be here as a pride owner of APACHE.. its been a month since i got my machine.. ODO reads 700ks and done the 1st service.. due to some fuel efficiency factors maintaining the speed in the range of 45-50.. But occasionally i steered it to some 80 to 90's..
when goin in seventies range the bike feel very stiff and harder.. But it moves wit a great acceleration... is it normal for the APACHE or any other bike.? or do i ve a problem wid my machine.?

Last sunday three of us (cbr600, ninja 650 and me) headed out for mandarmoni... around 170 kms from Kolkata, but were sent back by fate when we were just 15kms away from our destination. Had planned to take loads of pictures but could not
. could only take these...
The road was pathetic after we turned away from NH.
The reason why were turned back was kawasaki meeting with a small accident. anyways a village along the highway witnessed three hi tech japanese machines
CBR 600, always the attention grabber
. No one gives bhav to fireblade
The reason why we turned back ..... all are safe. Nothing serious.

Om !May the torque be with you..
