  • yeah these honda guys are really cheap- the insist that they have to charge for the labour as they are selling the bike so cheap since it is european... even the hayabusa charges similar for service.. blah blah (the yamaha guys are not selling the bike so honda is taking advantage of the situation)

---here is something intresting, i downloaded the owner manual from the honda usa website it mention for fuel that 91 octance or better is required, but in India the showroom guy showed me the blade's european owner manual and it states that 95 octane or better is required.
HMSI could have gone for import of the american version that would worked on regular fuel in our country rahther than european..!!!

@fireblah : yup saw the bike guys i will finalize the deal in 1-2 week as i dont see any choice in the market, my girl thinks its nice and i should buy it, although she has deciden she is not sitting on this thing!!!!(pointing to the seat). The bike feels so comfortable to sit on, fits like a glove, the hayabusa is just uncomfortable.

    • bunny octane 91 there is actually 95 here and 89 there is 91 here so it doesn't really matter if they import it from usa or uk

        • @Bunnymarwaha: The Blade might very well be comfortable, but if you say the 'Busa is UNCOMFORTABLE, then you are either ghastly misinformed or badly misinterpreting the definition of 'comfort'!

Even after 200kms. of continous riding throught a single day, I did not feel even a hint of back-pain or any pain anywhere, whereas ride a super-sport (SBK) like the Fireblade or the R1 for that amount of time or miles, and you are asking for it!

          • @Bunnymarwaha : I agree with Aryan, the Busa is the epitome of SBK comfort. There is nothing like the comfort a busa can offer.

            • a fireblade is probably the most road oriented and comfy of the jap 4's . a busa comes under hyper sports/ sports tourer category . its got higher bars and dosent have a really aggressive riding position...

                    • Jonak, its not like no one is interested in it but the updates are very less like the pics with the busa only two and said for later and nomore trip log except the first one, so i think the thread is on its downward slope now.

                            • CBR looks so tiny , i think it is the camera angel.
is there a pic of the two of them side by side?

on the matter of comfort since i did not have the change to get a test ride, but only to sit on them in the showroom, my opinion is puerly static, and rember one mans joy is another misery.

Wait till this weekend, there would be several pictures of Busa and Fireblade and two more bikes.
But the CBRs do look tiny in front of the BUSA.
