Now, back to the blade....
Went to bank on saturday, there was a short recess caused by the blade...

This lead to passerby into thinking that there is an accident or something, so more gathered....

Untill finally , the bike was no longer visible.....

It was fine till in my absence some smarty pant tried to hop on to it and managed to drop the bike

...
Minor scratches on the rear view mirror and on the engine ... not visible..

bruised ego? hahaha...ya right...its not about brusied ego..its about someone claiming to have done something which he has'nt...and i dont like people claiming things about me which are not true...and if at all it was about ego's..i would start off by how much distance i won the race on etc etc...
and finally, since you guys think of mr. fireblah to be a fair guy..i shall rest my case here and take it elsewhere...enjoy.

Ahh! This is what I absolutely hate. People take it as "their property" when they see some exclusive machine parked. They want to touch it, feel it, and in some extreme cases (like in your case) hop onto it, and see how the machine feels, in turn dropping it! I hope there is not much damage done to the Blade!

And as for the 'short recess', the pictures tell it all!

Thanks for sharing this lighter moment with us (barring the bike dropping thing).

Sir, I read your posts and can understand your situation. You see, we all love experimenting with things. Even I would love to experiment whether my car is faster or someone's bike.

But, the next time you try a drag/race between your car, and someone's bike, I suggest that such things better be between friends only. "Common Friend" is not going to do it, as you must have seen by now.

Commenting (turns at 280 kmph, etc.), or Provoking (you to race in streets) would NOT have happened if you would have been good friends.

It might seem a bit funny, but its true. Wishing you Good luck for your life and career. My Regards.

I thought you wanted to see the difference between a 1000RR and your EVO.

But still i would say that street-racing is something which should not be done.
Even while riding/driving on the streets there will be people who will provoke you, its better to stay away from those challenges. Hell, yesterday while I was doing around 65kmph on EM Bypass, a chappal-clad Platina chap overtook me and on the next red signal, When I stopped beside him, he said to me.."harie dilam toh?". And i was grinning under my lid.

I know those things about you, and that is why I was shocked to see the post and pictures. You are one of India's finest rally drivers and the your image that was coming out of this thread was really disturbing, because a lot of people look up to you. Thank you for posting your side of the story.

@Ani...no man..i never wanted to see anything between the car and the bike...i know of most cars & bikes drag times and other specs...know the result of most drag events in india and abroad and also lap times..even know how much bhp a car would need to pull out to beat a 1000rr in a drag..i was told those guys wanted to check and i just volunteered for some sunday fun..thats all...anyways, i'll sort it out...thanks for all your wishes...take care and ride safe

@fireblah sad to hear the bike got dropped. i take it you didn't get the guy who did it. about the racing and videos, no one can stop your from racing on empty streets or crowded one, it's totally your call to do as you please. but for heaven's sake don't post such pics or videos here. people seem to get very hyper online, and then it's about proving one's point and who's right and who's wrong. there's just something about the internet...

@Amittrajit dude, i don't know either you or fireblah personally, but it seems to me that you're here crying about your 'spoilt' reputation when it's very clear from the video that you were driving very recklessly, perhaps more so than fireblah who wisely decided to quit when he saw you take that corner. ok so they taunted and provoked you. that didn't mean that you had to go ahead and race. this is like the old 'jump in a well' story. fireblah (or his bro) made a mistake. SO DID YOU. so stop trying to portray it as if you are the victim here. no offence, just calling it as i see it.

It's ok dude, once a new vehicle gets that first scratch you know she's been broken in. Things get more comfortable from then on. still sux though. honda should launch an eagle eye satellite to keep tabs on their Rs. 12 lakh babies!
