    yeah, in fact i live at rail vihar, that's right on the road that starts from BVpeeth and goes to the 'official' speedrun drag strip. for a resident it aint so much fun when you're trying to sleep and noisy cars and bikes are buzzing by. but definitely fun to watch. and drag. and run from the cops!

    the other day i was at hiranandani and heard this awesome exhaust note. turned around to see an alto (!) with a big futhermucker of an exhaust

      for Mobil or Shell fully synthetic oil.. contact Munna at Sharma Auto.. its near ballygunj phari... 033-28890509.. i usually get it frm him.. or Motul... which again is in Ballygunj.. Opp Telephone Exchange.. they'r ethe main distributors of Motul in Kolkata

        I contacted Honda UK and asked them what oil they recommend. They have Castrol power 1 gps (semi synthetic) for first oil change, and later they recommend Power 1 racing (fully synthetic) ...
        But this gps is not available in india i guess...
        May the torque be with you..

          it seems like that only the official ones are developing problems!!...may be they ARE selling defective pieces here because they know its not a very huge volume market here...and contrary to general writing honda willl NEVER loose its name if one Honda in India has a problem..after all how many of the common man would even ask about a CBR at a honda showroom whereas he is more concerned about the next 150cc or 200cc bike to be launched by india..whether it will cost more than the R15 or not!!??....but if a bunch of them in the UAE or UK had this problem they would have even considered calling back the whole lot maybe....

            The power one gps and the power one available in India both are
            • 10W-30. Part synthetic 4-stroke engine oil with Trizone Technology™, Exceeds JASO MA-2 and API SJ.

              Just use the Motul 300V 15W-50. You'll see a big difference in the gear shifts and it'll make the bike run cooler too.

                            Yes, but it still runs kinda fine ... and beyond 4k rpm , there is absolutely no issues.... the problem is very vague still , we are not able to pinpoint it ... sometimes i feel it more, sometimes i dont ... so we have finally decided to go to delhi with the bike. In after the monsoon ends
