@fireblah @stewarch
Why dont you guys tell us why you went for Pilot Road / Pilot Power respectively?
I think the ROAD should last longer than POWER, however, I really want to know the trade offs? Is the ROAD harder than POWER? I am aware of the features listed on the websites but can we have some on-road experience?Last edited by ashtorque; 03-03-2010, 08:41 PM.To each his own karma!

I would not be able to tell you as I have not tried both yet, and honestly, I do not think I would be able to make out any differences between any two kind of tyres.Originally posted by ashtorque View Post@fireblah @stewarch

(too many Is in that sentence)... well... i dont feel any difference now between the stock and the pilot road... maybe in track you will be able to tell the difference ?
The Pilot Road is more normal road riding friendly. Hope it lasts 10k Kms atleast...Last edited by fireblah; 03-04-2010, 11:04 AM.May the torque be with you..

Yep, mine were 2CT's and I bought them because I believe they stick better on Indian roads, with the high heat. They do stick to the road and give the performance I want.Originally posted by ashtorque View Post@fireblah @stewarch

Did you check the manufacture date? The ones I got for the Busa were manufactured in '08.Originally posted by stewarch View PostYep, mine were 2CT's and I bought them because I believe they stick better on Indian roads, with the high heat. They do stick to the road and give the performance I want.

I think the CBR1000 RR is what you are looking for. Smooth power delivery, engine of course powerful, and in my opinion, one of the best looking bike.
See Manish, blade ki mein jitni tareef karoon, utni kam hai . You can close your eyes and buy fireblade. Hope honda still have a few left, cause last I heard was the 2010 models that they got in India, are almost booked !!
So I suggest you go with fireblade...May the torque be with you..

I contacted Honda Wing World Mumbai today, they said they've have 1 2009 honda fireblade grey silver colour 1 pc available. and if i want 2010 then i can book now and expected time of delivery will be in 3weeks.
the 2010 has only two colour schemes available in india, silver orange and black with gold alloys.
i'm totally confused what to do.
i wanted a pack piece like yours, but 2009 they are trying to sell me is one kept in display.
please suggest me which one should i go for. they're not giving me any discounts on 2009 model. only benefit i get is no excise difference i.e 14lacs. and 2010 model is around 14.40lacs...
and also help me choosing the colour for 2010 model. orange silver or black with gold alloys.
after going thru your thread, i've admitted you as my guru.
i can blindly trust on your advice.Follow me on Twitter: mrgenius8181

2010 model has changes... quite significant. So I would strongly recommend 2010 model over 2009 model. and about colour, its your personal choice... orange one is quite hot..Originally posted by rohramanish View Postthank you so much for quick reply..

2008 model
I had cheked out the 2008 model that they have kept in the showroom, 2 weeks back. The guy there told me the price can come down a bit depending on when i take a decision. I think the price can come down below 13 also.Originally posted by Bladerunner View PostManish - They have a '08 non ABS model at the Bombay showroom which they were giving for something like 13+. I think they must have told you about that one. Its got some kms on it as they were letting people ride it on the dyno here. I suggest you go for the '10.
My suggestion would be to take the 2010 model since you are already spending so much and 2 lakhs more for the 2010 model would be surely worth it. I had seen the orange one at the Auto Mall exhibition and i found it quite hot. Someone else found it hot too and booked it there itself.
Color choices are very personal and i suggest you follow your heart
All the Best.
