i confirmed they got 2009 model with ABS , 0kms done.

My suggestion would be to take the 2010 model since you are already spending so much and 2 lakhs more for the 2010 model would be surely worth it. I had seen the orange one at the Auto Mall exhibition and i found it quite hot. Someone else found it hot too and booked it there itself.

Color choices are very personal and i suggest you follow your heart

    All the Best.
Even i saw this babe in AutoMall Exhibition BKC, Mumbai and had love at first sight..

Yeah dude, I'll go for 2010 model Orange Silver colour.

      • @manish--i can't confirm but all colors should be having ABS,(but i have only seen black 1000RR's with ABS)
in case only black has ABS, please don't be tempted by orange-silver and go for ABS equipped motorcycle,
        happy buying

        • They have launched only ABS models in India so don't worry both the colour options here have ABS.

I heard that all the orange/black Blades have been sold. My friend picked up the last one. I think they only have Black with gold rims now. Unless, they have ordered some more bikes.

                • Hello,
Today i visited Honda Wing World, Mumbai.
Had a test of CBR1000rr on dynamo and touched 170+kmph..
i still can hear the sound of roaring..

Honda.. cheers.. Fireblah.. you're too lucky to have 2 best babes..

Fireblah can you give your opinion on Gold Alloys your Small Wonder ... As black colour 2010 model has gold alloys..

If Fireblah and Moderator Aryan don't mind, can we have a poll for best colour among the two as i'm too confused about the same.

I dont mean to hurt anyone.. just want the help choosing the colour.. I love both the colours..

                            • Time to revive the thread.

We had a great night ride a few days back. Highlight was the fact there were 3 R1s in the group. One with very loud Akrapovic exhausts.

I was the odd one out, stripping my engine, trying to keep with the pack.

We met up at a CCD joint, there one R1 joined us, and the three of us went to join the other group in Salt Lake. Hooked up with them, and took pictures, unfortunately, which didn't turn out very good.

Went out for the ride in earnest, and had fun. The 'Blade was probably the most discreet bike in the pack, making it a deadly combo. Unnoticed. Lethal.

As usual, questions were bombarded when we stopped again for taking pictures, and people were amazed to see so many 'dhoom' bikes all at once. Luckily, there was no touching.

Finally, after a little chit-chat, we decided to move on, most of the group heading for dinner. I had to get home for dinner, but there was a small confusion with that, as the group didn't know for certain where I was headed. Sorry for that.

                              Few pics:
                              You get the point?? :D
