+2 For RichardOriginally posted by hisunil View Post+1 for Richard Hyosung, except that the parts will be held in Indian customs for a Month, you will be notified later, go there & give a declaration that is for personnel use & they will release it in a week.
Cheers
Sunil
From Korea it takes only two to three days to reach Mumbai ports but after that our postal department takes its own sweet time to deliver to respective cities' postal department and then the Postal Customs Department will hold the package until you give the declaration letter and fill their "empty pockets".
I had ordered bar end mirrors for my Comet from US and it took around 3 months to reach to the Bangalore post office. It took around a week to reach mumbai and then rest of the time was taken by our postal department.
Basically you'll have to anticipate the requirement of parts and order it upfront so that you can get the parts when your bike needs it.

I just got my Bike serviced yesterday, & tried getting an oil filter for the bike, but couldn't manage to get it. So the alternate is that the fiero oil filter has been used costing just about Rs. 30 - 35. That's it. I've just put in AGIP fully SYNTHETIC OIL also, let's see how it performs. Horn was not good (single horn) so fitted the bike with a pair of Pulsar horns, Rear view mirrors from FIEM round chrome finish, they look good. Head light dome was the original Korean make & the spread was not good, so in comes AUTOPAL, out goes the original beam. Now all it needs is a good pair of PROGRIP GRIPS, & a tank guard.

You can browse through the forums there, tons of info on Comet, Aquila.
@Mods,
I am not sure if putting this forum address here is against xBHP rules or not. Apologies if it is. Please remove the thread.
But I'd request it to be there, its got tons of life saver info for us miserable Aquila and Comet owners !!
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

i am located in delhi. tried karol bagh & all kinetic dealers but it was of no help. even i mailed to planet dsg got the same reply. i get my bike serviced from KRP even he didn't have it . KRP was quoting a price of 11k to 12k (for the set) as and when they will be available. is it the right price. hyosung sells it for 110$ in US, aren't the dealers charging too much if they have it in first place.
