He does a thorough job. The carb sync for my bike was done properly for the first time by him. Everyone messed up something or the other ...
He cant help with the spares though, you'll hv to source them yourself.Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!

Thanks hisunil. I have been following your exploits on the comet, especially the ladakh trip and very impressed by your dedication and energy. great stuff. I recently changed the air filter and spark plugs and the engine note has become LOUD. definitely something wrong. I will call the honorable Dr. and fix an appointment in the coming weeks. I think we can get the shims (if required) from Richard right? I bought a bunch of spares in australia on my last trip, but not the shims. couldnt get clutch plates either. They act up once in a while. Cheers! we should have a comet owners beer session one of these evening. I normally do a sunday ride to nandi hills (i live in whitefield), maybe we can sync up? of course i gotta fix my bike first.

CHEERS,

So wen r we meeting for the beer ??
Also guys,
Anyone here thinking about boring out the comet engine ?
I mean with 5 years on, this shud be the time.
I feel the ideal mileage to rebore is prob 40K kms. But just wanted to know if anyone is giving it a thought.
I also wanted to add a tooth to the front sprocket. So that the accelaration is not that frantic. I got the comet engine in the cruiser guise (Aquila) and frankly find it to be too revvy at high speeds for my liking. So wanted to relax it a bit. The front sprocket is 14T by default. After looking around, I found a 15T front sprocket at GV 250 Accessories
They also have a 13T one for those who want even more accelaration !!
Now I am looking for ways to get it from the US. Currently got no frnd in Arizona so ....
Anyways just wanted to mention this.Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
