Sorry pal. The order happened in an instant. Prabhu asked me to check it out with Richard if he had the parts and we ordered at that time only. And the bill was already crossing 350$, didn't want to make the order a huge one. Anyways next may be after 6 months we'll again order and club our requirements.

As the three musketeers said " all for one and one for all " !!

So like can any one of you lead me through some kind of a "Dummies guide to PayPal" pls !!
In short you sign up to PayPal. Get your credit card registered with them which will initially cost you 2$ and will be reimbursed after successful registration.
For payment you just send the money to whichever id the recipient has registered with, generally it is the email id. The seller will mention his ID with the item description.
The money will be charged on your credit card. Simple

    Updates on my comet:
    - New lock set (75$). Now I have single key for all the locks on the bike (previously I had all the different keys for different lock :P)
    - New Tachometer (100$). It got conked off while getting the bike washed from a local bike wash center.
    - New front tyre. I got the front tyre (110/70/17). Brand: IRC. Medium compound. Costed me 2950/-. Waiting for the delivery of the rear tyre which will be a Bridgstone 160/60/17 and will cost around 11000/-.
    - Hardened the shocks. They had gone soft after the hardhships of Himalaya Trip.
    - Clutch plates (60$). Only the friction plates not the whole assembly. Haven't installed it yet as the old ones still have some life left

No Probs man, no hard feelings, You didn't answer my first question. I just got my bike back from Harsha, I think the bike fell in the basement & the handle got bent, & the mirror yolk broke too. The mirror yolk assembly along with the master cylinder has been replaced with that from a fiero. The bike is doing great man.

Sukanth nothing wrong riding or driving after a beer or two,DRINK RESPONSIBLY. If you don't want to ride, then we can drive. No more OT.

Chill man, I was just kidding!!
I know driving within the alcohol limits is okay.

Anyways I intend to order a bunch of stuff from Richard in a cupl of days. You can bunch whatever you need with it, if you want.

        cheers,
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

Suzuki access clutch cable matches closely with the comets, you can get that and ask your mech to fix it

@strike: The clutch cable might not be that strong and may give away. But you can live with it till you get the actual comet cable.

^^ heh heh heh .. there has actually been instances of pple using auto rickwshaw clutch cable on their Aquilla !!
Seriously, the lack of spare parts base has really hampered these amazing bikes !!

Also I got this from Orkut. Theres a guy in Pune called Mr. Patwa (ph num : 90111044588). It seems he can get Aquila/Comet spares !! U can perhaps try him out. But since the information is on Orkut, the reliability of it is anybodies guess !!

                          cheers .

nah... i got the bike from pune recently (since no1 was using it there..) and no thing is available.. even the brake pads on my bike are altered..
As of now.. am using an altered clutch cable from a bullet, but here no mechanic seems to be interested in altering the cable

the length of the cable does not match... it falls short by about 6 inches or so.. i got a honda active brake cable in there with some alterations.... it'll buy me some time till i can get original one that i have ordered with my dealer in pune.
anyways thanks team for the suggestions :-)
