wheels bearings etc are new as it was rebuilded so lot of things were changed engine was not touched ..chain sprocket set is new and OEM..now i guess it might be the clutch settings..will get it checkedOriginally posted by vimalnair4u View PostAlso check your wheels whether its moving freely without any friction(Bearing & Liners). Check the chain sprocket and chain tightness and clutch settings. If clutch is not set correct, you will feel like engine is dragging with clutch.
thanks for the replies ..

Hello Sri Ram garu, due to the un availability of bore piston kit for my rxg i got it sleeved at decade old work shop by a very skilled person, today i got him free and had asked a few doubts regarding the issue of sleeving, firstly we have to get the perfect sleeve that can with stand the high revs of the engine and the temprature.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View PostSleeve job should be done by experienced hands to have a perfect seating. Also, nothing compared to original bore, may be you can go for next oversize.
4TL00 can be seen at the bottom left side etched of the cylinder when you sit on the bike. RX135 and RXG share same 4TL00.
We have already discussed your questions and more many times in the past, you'll need to do search and go through the discussion.
the basic problem with an ordinary sleeve is as we all know iron expands under heat so does also the sleeve which is of low quality, our OE engine bores are made of different alloy that wont expand under severe heat. but if a low quality sleeve is installed they are bound to expand at some temprature putting pressure on the piston which reducess its life, drop in power, fuel economy and bore piston sound.MuRtHY

Re: Frequently Asked Questions (Yamaha RX Series)
Jay, I would think its just bolt on. Suggest you to plonk both cylinder and matching head. I'm not aware of its detailed spec or power. It belong to RX100 from Thailand and its a 97cc. If I'm correct it was released in 1977 until 1982-3 when RX115 produced.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions (Yamaha RX Series)
Hi Friends
Need your guidance regarding an old RX135 that I am evaluating to buy, here in Bangalore.
It is UP registered with expired RC, bike is in Bangalore, so is the owner. He has no contacts in the town where it is originally registered.
Now, how do I go about - RC renewal, transferring ownership, Insurance etc - while being here ?
How much legwork, cost etc.
Btw, am currently rebuilding my 1996 KB100 RTZ, thread here - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/thumpers...d-restore.html
Loving doing all the work myself, so essentially planning my next project.
Regards
