hi my fellow shaolin'ers its been a while since i last posted but with work and colg i bearly find time to post anything.......although i did find time to do up my bike. 3 days of work on the bike after coming home from work at 8:30 saw my bike moving atleast, given that it wasnt even moving when i bought her(she was jammed). Then when i got some time one morning got my mech he cleaned the carb like completely opened the air box, the air filter had become powder and just crumbled. then he told me kick the bike after some 15 kicks she sang to life. Then some days later i took her on the roads. Took her back to my mech using his tools i opened the back wheel and changed the rear drum since there wasnt one. lol......now she rides so well. but engine needs some work and clutch plates too seem royally screwed. and body anyway needs some serious looking into
the most heart warming feeling was that i worked on her myself like from start to her acctually starting.
    the stuff i did was
    open the chain case
    open the crank case
remove the chain by opening the link
bathed it in kero, then grease and oil paste.
    put the chain back
removed the front wheel got a slight bend removed filled the front wheel
filled air in the rear wheel with a foot pump.
    fixed all the stuff back

and she is now good to go......

thanx 2 all the guys who wished me luck and supported me on this decision.
keep watching for more updates on the newest member to my family

i dint spend a very very big sum as well, but i wud say resonable even the speedo tacho console was sold to me by the rate on the box and the box was 10 years old......it was an original pricol. tomorrow im going to get the bike dismantled to start chassis painting work. I just have that much money left......he he

Does any one know what make the wiring is off in a shaolin and what do i ask for at the spare shop?????????

MINDA. If you do not get it, ask for SWISS.

I was in banglore on JC road dude......Got all parts as i said in the earlier posts but the harness and wiring....once again i say the switchgear is available but not the wiring. i walked that entire road up and down 2 times went to every dealer but they dint have the wiring........

alternate solution. another bike running on 6V wiring. could i use the wiring of that bike then (new wiring offcourse)
