Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series

1V1-11311-00 is from primitive UK model i think. That think wo'nt even go on the indian crank case because of a different rounded shape of the transfer area. also the piston height and port placements can be different as well

You can fit this, maybe it will give you a better fuel efficiency.
On the frame of 135 there is a stud just below were the tank comes. It's placed on the stud with a grommet. I don't think there is this particular stud on 100s frame. So you have to find a way to keep this small plastic box plus you have change the intake rubber hose between the reed valve and carb.

Sound I don't think is affected by this.
About the performance part you have to keep it and evaluate the results.
The box always holds the air fuel mixture something like a reservoir. I think this increases the fuel efficiency and decreases the throttle lag. The box size most probably is a calculated one so I don't know how good it be for a 100.
Yamaha calls this YEIS (Yamaha Energy Induction System)
Experts correct me if I am wrong.

Re: how does a boost bottle work for two strokes

Yes you are right RX Dude it is a resonator for crisp throttle response and also personally I don't feel it will provide much difference in RX 100 because we have to use the same resonator box which we use for RX 135 which has calculated dimension for a 135 cc engine for a 100 cc engine we have to make a smaller resonator in order to get some results. According to me RX100 has a crisp throttle response even without YEIS technology so please do not disturb it .

Sound of the bike depends only on the exhaust port of the bike and the exhaust these changes will not change the sound of the bike.

Thanks rxdude and dinesh for your comment. One of my friend using energy induction on rx 100 for 4 years , But he never told to me about that when i am asking what is that he smile and change the topic actually he dont want to tell me, he says " tu samajh nahi payega mera bike sabse different hai ". believe me guys he is right because i can bet you his rx sound's like hell ,If i get a chance to record his bike's sound i'll definitely upload. Its sounds similar to bullet sound like bold beat sound dop dop dop dop very loud and clear sound , when he ride his bike in 60km its sounds nice but suddenly when he slow down it sound like AK 47 firing DDDDDDDDDD i am mad about his sound i dont know how he get that sound ,i asked him many times he refuses to tell me, somehow i went to my mechanic and i heard him sound of that bike, He was shocked and tell me that the bike has lots of compression and back pressure and a pure sound if you guys know how to get that sound pl let me know.i am posting his bike pic please reply me regarding sound. thanks aloot in advance.

hello again people
i have a dilemma, i might have a choice between RXZ and Shogun, which one should i opt for considering present day scenario with parts and maintenance.
(i already own a RX 135 5speed)
Thanks in advance

Considering about the parts and maintenance I will say you buy the RXZ. Except for the fairings, light, meters and frame RXZ is the same RX 135. So the best buy is RXZ as availability of parts is easier.
But again its like you are having another 135 with a different sporty look.
Shogun parts are difficult to get and is not as maintenance free as RX.

Maybe he just modified the core(flute) of the silencer. If you want more sound maybe you can also start with the same.

Thanks for the reply. i guess then i should hunt for a better RXZ , my concern was the same since i have a good experience with yamaha and its low maintenance factor, i was thinking the same but then shogun is a different bike all together. yamaha still has more pros then shogun

@rxdude := Actually i have destroyed no. of 13 (all new) flute already to get that sound, but no one near to that bike. i know he has done something with the head , because he said that day you wont get sound like my bike until u do something in head and carburetor. in fact new stock silencer could not give you that sound. i was totally upset to listen that but he has not agreed to disclose what he has done with that silencer or head.my bike missed the exhaust note how to get back ????? really in trouble only for that sound i am not able to repaint my bike..

ASAIK the only thing you can do on the head is to increase or decrease the compression. Compression can be increased by removing some of the metal (shaving).

You can't get the typical RX sound from new silencer. The new one is muffled too much. You have to go through junkyards to get the old silencer.
