        Hello guys,
        I want to change my spokes wheel on my rx135 to alloys.I am thinking to get pulsar or discover 125 st.I would like to know whether the sprocket of stock 135 be fitted to the 125 st's alloys.If not,what could be done to remedy that.The 125 st alloy looks really great.Help me out guys

            Someone asked me how to restore nickle parts Like rim etc. All u have to do is add vinegar to baking soda and rub it on the rusted nickle part. It will remove d rust ans give u back d shine. I'm attaching a pic of a rim I treated This morning.
            as you can see the difference on the part i treated with the above said mixture.

              If everything is fine then leave it. and you dont need to do compression test. In order to do a compression test u need to buy a compression gauge, which is fitted in place of spark plug, i.e, in its hole to test the compression. So leave it! You don't even get that gauge in jamshedpur.

                mileage problem in my rx 135 4s

                hi folks, i have a 2003 model rx 135 4 speed bought from my cousin brother a year ago. the bike was running on last over size and bore had almost seized. my brother informed of this before itself and gave the bike at a low price. i took it to my uncle's mechanic who plonked in a second oversize stock bore for a reasonable price after doing crank reset and all. but the problem is am not getting mileage above 25...have changed the carburettor thrice and the recently plonked another bore and stil the same problem....the bike has very good pick up and there is no even a little noise coming out from the engine....i really love this bike and dont want to sell it....experts please help me....there is no doubt about the mechanic as i have know him from few years and my friends and my cousin brothers friends rx's are serviced by the same mechanic and they all return fe of around 40 butnot my bike...i and my mech have tried a lot to sort it out but stil not able to....i welcome the experts opinion...thanks in advance

                  Hi,
                  I am from Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. recently I have restored the engine of my 1992 RX100. spent almost 30K.
                  With lack of time and reach I decided to do the restoration in Kharghar only. With 2-3 local references I zeroed on a mechanic- Ravi, behind reliance fresh.
                  on day 2, went to Naman Yamaha-Panvel to source the spares. with my own list procured
                  1. block piston assy
                  2. Clutch assy complete
                  3. Crank
                  4. Reed Valve
                  5. Spark plug
                  6. Oil seal kit complete
                  7. Bearing set complete
                  8. Bend pipe of silencer
                  9. Engine oil pump
                  10. Cables (clutch, accelerator, brake etc)
                  11. Indicators
                  12. handle bar
                  13. Rear and front Mud guards
                  14. Oils
                  15. brakes
                  16. Packing kit
                  17. Steering racer cone (thrust bearing set)
                  etc etc.
                  During assembly I was there to ensure that all the spares are fitted & the corresponding old one is replaced.
                  even after putting all these efforts, the bike's performance is not at par.. can any body help me find a good mechanic in Kharghar, Belapur who can really check the machine like a RX100 doctor.

                    RX 100 repairing...

                    Hi guys, My Dad's got a 1989 RX 100 and I've got the ride to myself from 10th (now 12th). I've been riding it in very bad condition so 4 months back gave it to a mechanic and had the engine rebored. He said that we'll have to change the carburetor. He insisted on something called mi-carb but i wanted authentic MIKUNI. Not only that there's a weird noise under acceleratino... The mechanic says its bore slapping noise but my dad says its the Reed Valve. So i need help to find the best mechanic in Chennai and also i want authentic parts and where can i get them? Thinking of full restoration to showroom condition.

                      Queries on Expansion chamber (street use)

                      Hello,

                      After going through so many threads i am confused on buying a expansion chamber for my RX135. I tried couple of chamber already and both are failures.

                      Its a stock Engine....I am looking little improvement in performance with nice exhaust sound (primary reason why i am going for chamber)

                      Will Malaysian chamber works well with my stock Engine...Please guide me

                        RX 135 5 speed

                        Hi Friends ,

                        Does RX 135 5 Speed and 4 speed share same CDI unit and Ignition coil?
                        If they are different, can 4 speed cdi and ignition coil be used in 5 speed?

                          They both use the moric cdi. I am pretty much sure that the coil is the same too.

                              The 5 sp makes the power further up in the revrange than the 4sp. So it needs to be revved a bit compared to the 4sp to go. The 4sp has smaller ports compared to the 5sp making it effective at lower speeds but falls flat in top end power.
