Putting a tank cover for a longer time will damage the paint on the tank. Also will spoil RX looks(Just my personal opinion. No offense).

During waxing tank cover will be removed (and the bottom surface will be cleaned) This is my routine procedure.
At rare occasions I'm forced to keep my shoulder bag over the tank and this cover helps the paint from getting scratched.

Mr.Boss - Congrats for your 5S Conversion.

Tank Cover looks very good. I personally like this cover model predominantly used for Hero Honda Splendor .

Swapped the 18" rear wheel with 16" to match the final drive ratio (instead of sprocketing)

Changes made:
Wheel & Tire : 3.00 x 18 --> 3.25 x 16
Rear Shocks : Pulsar --> Libero

Front mudguard and Headlight doom is not matching the bikes overall look. Try to get the same paint mix and paint atleast the mudguard. That will give a more elegant look.

It's been 2 years since I updated this thread.
5 years since restoration and this machine never left me without a smile.

Quick update:
- 12k+ on odo
- Replaced the battery under warranty (more than a year ago, but it failed again)
- Rear shocks changed
- Oil change
- Brake cleaning
- Clutch cable change

Swapped the rear shock absorbers (libero) with OE one

Some surprises crop from no where.
People say 2 strokes mark their territory with oil spill, but this time it marked a little bigger territory.
2T oil hose cracked near the tank outlet and almost a litre oil leaked.

Changed the clutch plates, serviced the oil pump (had a minor leak), changed transmission oil
