Wonderful pic there. For Helmet lock, you can try for the RX100 complete lock set of 4 from Two Wheelers India. It comes with helmet lock set. i.e 4 locks. Ignition, side handlebar lock, Petrol tank lock and helmet lock too. However, they come with keys with plastic top not metal ones.

      Thanks Sriram.
Tried with Two Wheelers India twice, they don't have the RX100 set of 4 lock set in stock.
Asked them to place the order too, but no progress yet.

Anyways, will check with them again.

Until I get hold of original RX helmet lock, hope this jugaad should serve the purpose.

Fixed a Hero Honda Passion helmet lock
Mounting holes didn't match exactly, so as of now mounted with a single bolt.
Original HH key is too long with the plastic head, will get a RX key blank (full steel) and get it machined for this lock.

Are you going to color dip Allen key screws?

If they are tvs ones then leave them be. Or else get them zinc plated golden.

                Lock jugad seems good.

                  Mr.Boss..

Awesome restoration.. good to see the pics.. I missed to take pics of my rider restoration since its back around 5yrs before.

                  Techis,

Having a small confusion.. usually I do see many painting the bore with black, actually it causes cooling problems right..?

                  Thanks
                  Regards,

This was discussed in other forum too.
Looks logical, but not sure about the actual impact.

Painted block causes overheat in prolonged use. In city riding not so much.
