Ok Atul...you are tiny compared to me...and you look positively MASSIVE on that RX!!

Looks sweet man - I like the drilled out hubs and the swingarm (sorry for not reading through earlier posts but is this a DIY effort?) and the cowl-seat combo.

The idea I had and wanted to share with you is this...

Imagine your bike with everything moved down to the minimum level off the ground (will require a custom chassis). The length increased. Engine shifted to the bank and coupled to the rear wheel with a short-chain or belt or even directly coupled. Rider will lie on the bike with legs on either side of the engine. Small front-end lifted off a mini-moto. Tiny fuel tank near the engine with enough fuel for the run...and nothing more. A fairing to provide an aerodynamic shape.

Maybe drop an RD engine in there...

Yes...couldn't miss that. I think the one he is after is a 3XV which is a much newer V-Twin version. Spectacular bike.

Mine is a 1KT parallel twin. Not quite as exotic as the 3XV but I can't complain...

lol..yea..the bike sure is tiny..I think the R15 fairing will make it look slightly bigger
yes guru, complete DIY effort right from the porting, building and the expansion chamber..im really glad u like it
hehe..the seat cum cowl looks a bit odd but was a cheaper way out..plus cosmetics was the least of my concerns on the bike..its lighter than a conventional cowl though

sounds good..koli is also dropping in from the US for a break may first week..we should sit down and get this started..Box section metal and cnc welding is possible..Chassis dynamics I really don't have much of a clue honestly, but what the heck, we'll look it up..They dont call us noobs for nothing :P

@ pradeep - yea thats me man :P

i checked with the guy..not happening man he wants to keep the bike rotting it seems..plus the PV and servo motor on that thing is shot..Plan B is buy a junk zma and go the CRF route like you. I really wanna own a zma soon Then maybe cam it and get a hotrod stroker kit, a revbox and an exhaust and try to keep up with you on the teezer
some joker here got himself a stage 4 BBR cam..i wanna see how it turns out man..hehe

Btw there is a guy here called Hussain who is building a RX135... luckily he works for the Yamaha showroom and so has got hold of a R15 chassis for like 650-800Rs.. it was supposed to be sold as scrap after an accident case... now he has modelled the rx on it!

You want me to check with him for that or another chassis?

I'll bet my money if that joker cam make that cam work. You buy anything with your money, but you cant make it all work unless you know how. U pretty much need to re-engineer a 4-stroke head to accomodate a cam with a cray lift and duration.
Ya man, the CRF route is good, but u being a 2-stroke nutter wondering if you'll get bored pretty soon

I don't think he'll get bored...my karizma is awesome fun to ride. Plus he weighs almost half of what I do...

Atul - come ride my bike around and you'll go buy a Zma immediately

Actually - lets meet up at Durga's for some misal pav and then you and Rohit can go postal with the zma on the highway...

Damn thats crappy news man. If you find a nice chassis - pick it up for as cheap as possible. You can practically buy a brand new engine from Sing/Thai anyway.

Karizma will do but the Teezer is something else man. You'll see when it gets to Mumbai (which is pretty soon actually...)

Buggers, I myself love the karizma a lot man. Our karizma is so much fun and I have now installed a different CDI(now thats a different story altogether) which lets the engine rev till a heady 11800rpm. You just cant believe that its a long stroke motor.
But these 2-stroke nutters have a different opinion for 4-strokes. Ya, but they'll surely change their mind

yea man..the zma sure has potential. I just finished making a stainless steel exhaust with header for a friend last week for his zma..With the catcon off and a slightly reworked head, the bike was responding like a charm, nice handler too..and good power

Im going the CRF route for sure..Im actually looking out for a junk zma with papers..You know the bitten by the bug feeling
haha, yea 2 stroke nutters dont quite like the 4 strokes..but our market really doesnt have much to offer..but the zma is a good bike

fingers crossed..lets hope i land something good

Lovely. The outcome is good. The rearsets are good too, but don't you feel uncomfortable with the placement of it?! It seems too high.
