got a speed gun for myself and landed with the boys for speed testing sunday morning. the bike ran pretty well for the first half and post panvel bypass i managed to enter main powerband in 5th, and ended up blowing up..the connecting rod had given up on me

packed the bike up in deepak's car [with guru's , rohit's and deepak's help] big help to the big man guru for getting us breakfast
dampened spirits, and a rebuild to go all over again i thought to myself..not even a half decent run on the gun and the bike had broken down..i was kinda disappointed.

Did a few runs on guru's zma..Sweet bike I must say..Needs a decent exhaust and she'll be good to go faster..Me and motor tried runs on the bike..He managed a 126kph and I did a 130kph..not bad for my 79 kgs weight I must say. Did all that and we all headed back to mc donalds for the breakfast menu

Got home and split the cases..Conrod snapped on me. replaced with brand new crank again + new bearings. The bore wasn't damaged surprisingly [lucky me]
Finished the rebuild last night and I was on my way to speed testing today morning 4:30 am again..I havent slept even a single bit in the past few days. Good weather I said to myself, was nice and cool on the stretch

Did about 8 runs..A lot of traffic on the way so the first few runs did not even register on the speed gun..Was frustrated out of my wits..Then in the 8th run I managed a 128kph. My gearing is as short as it gets..Im running 17 inch rims and a 15/37 sprocket setup..I was maxxing out on all 5 in less than 400 mts..Need to switch to a 16/32 and try again..Im a lil disappointed but I hope I will better it this week

                      A few important lessons learnt

                      1. Landspeed aint easy
                      2. Gearing is crucial
                      3. Need a fairing asap!
                      4. Must lose a lot of weight or find another rider
                      5. Fuel quality is poor

                      All in all, I'm content
