Yea anna I have in mind what you told .
Was gonna post all things together .
Yesterday my kick went kaput , so took to a mechanic here .
He told may be the saree guard is the culprit .
His logic was this . The saree guard kinda pulls the mud guard downwards .
Hence this problem . I tht what crap because mostly all Rx i ve seen have them and none have this problem . And the guard is attached to rear or chrome part so how does it affect middle parts of mud guard .

May be the problem is with tyre or the mechanic is right or as one of my friends told that the rear suspension may be kaput which seems highly unlikely for me because they are working well and cool . Coz the outer mug guard or the chrome thing i put new but the old fibre part looked completely all right so let it be .

One shocking thing I observed was the that I saw two Dunlop tyres.
One mine and other that is fit on passion i.e.,
Dunlop Uni grip n dunlop mystery .
Both same specification , 3.00 * 18 . But my tyre is a bit more huge than the one . Dunlop sucks big time .

Currently reduced tyre pressure but that affects handling big time .
Trying to learn counter steer at the moment .

        Questions .

Any side effects if I set idling to higher that specified .
And yeah one thing I noticed is that manual suggests NGK BPR 8HS
but nowadays only NGK BPR 7HS is available , so I put that one .
Will it create any problems .

Will post details later on about other things .

Btw everythings normal in the thing that I mentioned ? .
Is it toooo big to read. Should I write concise because no one has actually pointed out if something was wrong or normal .

        @ Shivanshu

Thanks for all those words mate .
Will post details n pics later on .

        • Are you sure it is BPR8HS and not BP8HS?

Whichever it is, using the hotter BPR7HS isn't a good idea. Neither is setting the idling to higher than recommened.

          • Stock Plug for the RX135 is a NGK BPR7HS and not the 8.

            • Stock plug is BPR7HS for a 5speed. I think its the same for a 4speed.

Mine is 4 speed . May be your talking of 5 speed as Sandeep said .
Or if you are so sure then it may be a print mistake in my owner manual .
May be thats the reason 8HS aint available . I am confused now .
                Currently running 7HS one .

                @ raccoon

Yes the manual mentions the plug as BPR 8HS ( NGK )

                • ^^^ Dude, use BPR8HS only then. But since this not available, the equivalent plug from MICO would be WR5BC.

You can get BP8HS from TVS, but better not use this for your bike.

                    • ^^^Correct as mentioned (WR5BC). Just confirm this. Check MICO's chart also (available with authorised dealers). Isn't an alternate plug mentioned in your manual?

                      • 8HS is for the RX King which makes more power. 8HS is too cold for stock bikes. Well lemme know if you find them 8HS plugs in India. I have some 8HS with me, they foul up very fast when used with stock engines. W5BCs are just fine. Does not matter if it has R or not.

Interested to know what kinda manual you are seeing. I have a RXG parts catalog and it says BPR7HS. I have a RX King catalog and it says BPR8HS.

                        • ^ what he says is correct. 8 is a bit too cold. I used to use it in my RXZ and lost that plug very early.

It can matter. Both technically and thru my own personal experience too.

I don't know about Yams, but BP8HS is the stock plug for Shoguns. Works perfect. If anybody wants it, it is available with the TVS dealers here. Seems to be imported from Japan, so bit pricier. Using W5BC now and it seems to work as good. The NGKs are said to last longer though...

Outwardly, the best thing you could do is 1st use the recommended plug (BPR8HS/WR5BC). If you don't experience any fouling, and the colour looks good, stick to that. If not, change to the hotter one (BPR7HS).
