@KB100 - Thanks for picking up this thread for me.
Last evening I'd been to the workshop & found the issue was with the piston that is at the brake lever. Finally decided to ditch that & fixed an Endurance master cylinder & levers including the clutch side; though they weren't direct fit, I'd to some juggad , which you know I hate. But I'm left helpless.

But still the brakes are manageable & not even good. So that's the status as of now. I'll soon settle for new disc brakes.

        • Please find the picture of my RX135 after cosmetic rebuild. I had recently taken it to meet this sunday.

Aargee: Guess need to adjust the foot rest as I'm not finding easy to shift gears as before. Right now it is such a way that doing a toe shift gear change.

          • @Sri - Let me have a look at it once I'm back from vacation; my strong feeling is, there's some juggad done at exhaust, footrest & frame. We'll do a cross compare with my Rx & check it out. Mine is perfect.

                  • First service report

I opened up the workshop manual & was shocked to see the first service interval to be at 1000 Kms. No wonder RX was behaving so bad for last few hundred Kms. Anyway, here're the list of complaints...
                    1. Chain & chain cover noise
                    2. Front brakes as usual
                    3. Leak from fuel cock
                    That's all.

So I decide the followings in addition...
                    1. Tighten chain
                    2. Clean spark plugs, air filter & carbs
                    3. Change engine oil. Any recommendation is highly appreciated
                    4. Tighten the fuel cock
                    5. Water wash & polish

Here's the pic of spark plugs before cleaning

This time I used Zorrik to clean & it worked wonder. Just 3-4 sprays & the entire spark plug becomes sparkling new. No more nuisance of cleaning with petrol.

                    After cleaning

I would recommend cleaning the plugs using Zorrik or WD40. It really works miracle; all I did was just 3-4 sprays & wiped using a dirty cloth, yes, not even using a clean cloth & the results are amazing. Inorder to get this same effect, I used brush the plugs & what not using petrol?

                      Tightened chain

Damn it brakes; I'm totally frustrated. I think I need to replace the pads or go in for new brake setup!!!

Here's the position of the lever

This is the position at which the brake's position is felt. I mean, until this point the lever moves easy

As you can see its very easy to pull up to throttle. I'm really frustrated

Airfilters needs to be cleaned up tomorrow; will post the pics after cleaning, meanwhile, here's the pic of the dirty ones

Here's the color of the drained oil; its still red in color with no metal powder

The plug looks Wet Rich ... what 2T oil are you using BTW ?

Of late have tried Agip 20W40 and 20W50 for the gearbox. It seems pretty good.

                        • Thanks Sandeep for the suggestion; I'll try getting a AGIP 20W40 but not sure how much I can succeed; any recommendations with Shell?

Yes, the motorcycle is running damn rich; is there any special meaning on wet rich or dry rich? I've noticed one of our fellow members was dry & black & I was wondering why mine is wet, I assumed it was due to unburnt oil. Could you help me understand pls? Tks.
