I doubt, as the truing guy balanced it, anyway, I'm not dismissing the thought

    - Bearings of front hub
Bearings should be good as they're the same from the old wheel & haven't touched a things

    - Un-equal amount of oil in both front forks.
I was there when the fork oil were being filled & they're of 150 ml in each; probably with a difference of 2-3 ml on higher side. But does that make this difference?

        • as a rule, generally replace the bearings when going in for a new front end. Check the rest of the items listed. 2-3ml oil difference is normal.

Other issue could be un equal damping or un equal spring length of the front forks.

You mean both the balls in the upper & lower end right? They've been replaced

Hahaha...my older suspension was of unequal length & the ride was still great; the new ones are good as they've both spacers & springs of equal length & of same ones.

@JD - I tightened (medium) the front forks & still this is an issue; the motorcycle is swaying to right or left & is not in centre when the hands are left free.

            • Immense satisfaction for hardwork

              A good productive day!!!
I don't know why people do not want to take up some job that they could do, but not a regular work even if I'm willing to pay for it. Anyway, the result of neglection is...
              1. Some minor cuts in fingers & nails
              2. Two hours of hard work
              3. Immense pleasure
              4. Unexplainable satisfaction

Here's the work that I did today using the following tools

i meant the hub bearings, where the axle goes thru. but i think even that has been replaced.

Any wobble in the wheel, when you put the bike on the main stand, take the front wheel off the ground and rotate the tyre? The wobble could be in the tyre as well.

                • No JD; I have only lubricated the front wheel as I don't know what type of bearings are inside. I think the old mech replaced the front bearings with the rear ones when converting into disc brakes. The frontal portion within the hub remains the same. The front forks are little tight now & the disc pads are little rubbing against the disc & doesn't allow a very free movement.

                  • ^ Aargee: My understanding is that there are two bearings for the front wheel so called Wheel bearings' and for the rear there supposed to be 3; 2 wheel bearings and one sprocket bearing.

You might want to check the wheel if the right wheel bearing is plonked (meaning front or back).

                    • The one on the front is the rear wheel bearing as the rear wheel axis had to be tweaked in to get into it. But for sure, the bearings are not the culprit.

Damn it!!! my shoulders are paining controlling the sway on the motorcycle!!!

                        • @F1freaker - use Gladiator's front disc setup along with the suspensions. They should work good.

                          • What was fixed?

Finally the front number plates from Utsav was being fixed. Trust me, it added more beauty to the motorcycle.
This was being worked upon. The original number plate was long enough to spoil the beauty of the Utsav number plate; hence it had to be cut. The stupid guys at lathe wouldn't do anything deviating their process & said its not something that can be done at lathe. So I'd to do it all by myself.

Anyway, I enjoyed it very much after fixing on to the motorcycle & the very sight of it made my pains fly away

                            • After fitting the generator with a little of juggad, there're two more works pending now.
                              1. OE accelerator cable fix
                              2. little more wiring.

We were able to manage a little of wiring by ourselves to get the vehicle started, but failed miserably on turn lights. Need to get the battery charged too in addition.

Learned a valuable lesson that throttle cable juggad is one of the biggest pain in the ass when one switches to the flat slides. Thanks @JD for the continued support ; I owe you two!!!

Oh!!! Yes, the issue with frame was fixed. It was due to improper hammering.
