@all.....sorry if my knowledge is faulty(I have very little knowledge about RX bikes,my Dad sold off his RX100 when I was in class 3,ridden many of them but never got the chance of exploring them), but I feel that RX100 and RX135 had different porting, induction, transfer and exhaust.........so am a little bit curious

      Cylinder + Head = RX135
      Gearbox = 5 Speed
Its no longer an RX100 except for the cosmetics
      Carbs - 28mm Flatslide

Absolutely no issues; everyone in this world are ignorant about RX except that some learn & understand & you're no exception.

Yes they're little different on the port; induction - not sure what you mean, little elaboration will help; exhaust - very much & add to that the power box of RX135 missing in RX100 & the sprocketing size of RX100, RX135 4S & RX135 5S.

      • As the proverb goes - Patience pays, I don't know in what way it pays or it makes me pay!!! The dates on rebuild has been postponed indefinitely!!!
I'm struck with a new problem of how to resolve; I've this RX135 suspension assembly that is a direct fit on the RX100 frame, but the top bracket of RX100 (how I love it) is not a direct fit. So its either I change the complete fork assy or change only the top brackets. So there're several options for me...
        1. Change the top bracket to RX135's; it has its own cons on the meter assy base seating position & I've to rethink as how to do it as I'm not very clear on this.
        2. Change the front fork assy; first thing that comes to my mind is people calling me crazy ass; anyway, I should also be able to get it; I heard YMIS has stopped its production too; options need to be explored here.
        3. Use the existing top part of the front fork tube & replace everything else including the bottoms. This again cannot be done as I suspect the top part of the tube to bent & this is the reason I'm planning to change the complete assy
        4. I cannot think anything beyond the above 3 points ; Suggestions welcome to help me. Tks in advance.

        • Dude dont break your head do as i said on RDD and chill you will get the top bracket of the newer model, u can fix the stock RX 100/135 speedo on it without any mods.

Thanks Psycho; You're right that I'm worrying on even minor things 'cause that's the perfection I expect. Anyway, if I can mount the RX100's speedo bracket on it, there's nothing like it as I don't want to have RX135's speedo & that's another problem of mine.

Do you think they'll fit? Frankly I don't know how the speedo meter's bracket & the top brackets are related. Any idea or suggestions?

Have ordered the hex nuts as you said & keeping my fingers cross until I get them.

Actually I want to Thank you for your timely intervention that I learned something new. The new setup has a completely different speedometer bracket mount & the headlamp assy holders. Had I used the RX135's fork & top plate, the build would've stranded.

              Thanks so much.

Yes I will, give me sometime; its a big mess to pull out underneath the cot & put it back. I'm planning to group things based on Engine, front & rear components, so at that time I'll post the pic.

Well, actually the fact is half the room is occupied with the parts under the cot; the latest procurement on seat & bearings are running out of space; I need to find some space.

Even I'm planning to take an inventory of stock as I'm 100% sure that I've bought few of the items more than once like wheel bearing, spacers, collars & I've 2 clutch side casing
