Now comes the toughest job of double, triple...checking on the procured parts & I hate doing it. (Is there a easy way?)
Found several small missing parts such as collars, spacers, hex nuts, special bolts & I've ordered them. I should be getting it by next week. Tonight I'm going to get the fork assembly. Very expensive part!!! So far this is the only part that I feel its not worth the amount I'm paying for!!! but what to do!!! I need them too.
Well a good friend of mine ordered a Alpha Toyo RVM's & I've ordered them & they should also be arriving by next week along with them.
Can anyone believe it? The rear L bracket is not available with Yamaha. Such a small part & so difficult to find. I'm more than disappointed to hear.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Whew!!! finally got the fork assy too
But the bottom leg of RXZ would've been a sweet deal; now I've a huge task to do cut paste work; need to dismantle the leg piece & put it from the existing one.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Oh!!! Thanks for the tip Sir; I'll write it down. I'm already making a list of do's & don'ts & I'll put this right there.Originally posted by jd666 View Postchange oil in both forks, when changing the bottom tube on one fork.
PS - Remember the motorcycle jerking issue? I changed the ignition coil yesterday & I get amazing smoothness in acceleration since then. But somehow the idling seems to be an issue but definitely a lot lot better than the engine dying in 15 seconds. I hope when I change things completely, it should be even better.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Well JD, its not a fluke; its just a simple thought process. You'd the experience I guess. Think of all possible ways the engine could die in simpler terms starting from spark plugs & one of them should work. Spark plugs, coils, plug caps, rectifier, Magneto coil & it keeps going. Point - I don't consider your suggestions as fluke.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
