Only trying to say that you have procured almost every parts that goes in RX. That says that you could also as well assist some looking for clarifications.

The 0.25 size piston will be used on the other sleeved cylinder that I've depending upon the availability of 2 standard size piston.

          • I'm able to see faint image of something written on the back of indicators. Is that written 'Minda'? Can we have close up of that image?

            • Yes they're Minda; do you still need a close up? (feeling lazy to pick up the cam)

                      • Well they're not ART; I want to follow a tested & tried method than experimented method; I cannot afford now for a experimentation method as I've already decided to go in for tested & tried efforts only.

Kick start assy, front fork assy, few parts on gear shaft assy & 12V magneto are the delays now.

                        • I happened to visit Wurth India this morning & came to know about their several product; my intention was to look at their tools (idea provoked by Ayson running on Torque Wrench Thread) but found that their tools are more than highly unaffordable & their quality is more than way too good (true that good things don't come with extra ordinary prices); anyway, cutting long story short, they also seemed to sell anti rust primer paints in aerosol cans (silver grey & brick red color) & being a German engineering freak, I hit on idea if I could do the primer & painting job myself in a dust free area.

Hence this post; Experts, pls pour in your opinon on the feasiblity to do it by myself provided I do it in a dust free area. What're the precautions that I should be taking apart from protective gears while painting?

                          • Today I came to know something new on friction plates. Looks like there're 2 qualities of friction plates, one in the range of 50ish & another in 125s. The quality of both of them - too bad even to compare. Let the pics speak.

Question - For a 5 speed gear box how many friction plates do I need? One guy says 5 friction plates other guy says 6 friction plates & I guess I would need 5 clutch plates. Somebody pls confirm if this is right.
