    • @psycho - appreciate your help very much & I'm sorry that I couldn't accept it.
      @Arvind - Thanks.

      But its all not over yet, its just over interval & a good twist in the story. Here're some more pending works...
      1. Change the front, rear fenners & rear handle
      2. New spokes for both front & rear
      3. Bearings, spacers & collars to be replaced in both the wheels
      4. 12V magnet to be purchased so that the vehicle gets a new 12V system instead of exisiting 6V
      5. Front forks, suspension, meter assy, pilot lamps, meter brackets, LH & RH side covers, front emblem, handle bar, clutch & front brake levers & new number plates to be mounted
      6. Last but not the least - complete wiring to be changed along with flasher, RR unit & CDI

      • Congrats Aargee ! I'm sure all your long thought process/worries for last some weeks on rebuild would have vanished after you took her for a spin.

        Hats off to your sheer determination and strong will to build a entirely new (every part) bike.

        I'm sure there is not much left to assemble remaining areas.

        Once done, do click some pictures and post it.

                    - Very True; I'm glad

                    Patience; only patience does all this; if you see, when I dumped the other 2 mechs, I never uttered a word on frustration & both of them never know that this work is completed; I'll still approach them for any small works, but will never reveal them as how I got it done
                    Thanks @Nitin
                    Thanks @Aalop
                    Thanks @JD; I need to admit one truth here; when you kept saying pick up some assorted 10 & 12 size bolt nuts, I never understood the inner meaning; but only when working on the motorcycle I realized the meaning; I could appreciate the engineering; I could understand which bolt & nut to use where. Thanks a lot @JD. I owe you one too!!!

                    Current update on work that are pending
                    1. Front suspension replacement
                    2. Front fork replacement
                    3. To buy 12V magnet & get the 6V generator replaced with 12V
                    4. Electricals
                    Well, I've been productive since morning to replace the front, rear fenners, tail lamp, rear turn lights, rear utsav number plate;
                    Have removed both the wheels & found a unusual thing in the front; the front axle is quite different & is not of stock; I've a challenge to find which motorcycle's axle it belongs to & buy the OE's. So I'm assuming that the bearings will also change accordingly & these are some challenges now; So much for the frontal disc brakes!!!

                          @Roshiba - Pics I'm not taking any of them as of now as work has not been completed; they may appear eventually once the entire work is completed.

                          • Aargee good that you took up the rebuild work and completed. See it started to rain, if delayed your work, rain would have added agony.

                            I was about to start my work today packed my spares and came out to catch an auto, however, when I looked up the sky, something told me to hang on. Well, it started with a drizzle and then boom a heavy rains and went back inside.

                                Current update is that I'm done with the wheels with spankling new set of spokes. The entire rear section is completed today; so nothing more to work behind the engine section.
