  • The entire front section was removed today & I could only replace the upper/bottom brackets, RH/LH covers to hold headlights, front turn lights, both pilot lamps & speedo meter assy (finally the first procured part is being fitted ); this weekend, I'll have the front forks fitted.

        • @ Aargee - Wish could ride your bike tomorrow if given a chance. Since it is more convenient to meet during the weekend, thought would see the pictures in meanwhile.

@Sri, you cannot ride tomorrow; it doesn't have front suspension as of now & electrical work is pending. It is standing only with the forks & hanging disc brakes mounted to stand & thin support. I'll have gala time running around to get the suspension fixed & put the front wheel back. The exhaust note is gradually changing & its getting slightly thick with metal clangs compared to thin metal clangs on Sunday. I've the horn removed for you & will hand over when we meet.

Yes, I agree, its a beautiful sight to see the motorcycle now & ride was simply great; I felt like a new motorcycle out of showroom & that was not only with the ride, but also with the smell.

Thanks, but one question: Is it of RX100 or Rx135?

If it is 6V horn of Rx100, guess it might not suit my bike.

You take it whatever it is; I've decided to give it to you & I'll hand over it to you. IMO, I assume its 12V because it always sounded very weak & each time I take it to the electrician it sounds well. So I'm giving a thinking horn to you

                        • Psycho - 101% the length is altered, but I'm sorry, I need to learn how those mechs do it. Sorry about that.

                          • Its been 30 hours & 35 minutes to precise; I woke up last noon by 3 PM & haven't slept until now!!! Why?

Just to ride 2.8 Kms on the ODO
Yeah!!! the steed is back on the road with new suspensions!!! Pradeep, the suspensions are doing magic & I'm happy; In last 10 years, I haven't been able to get this kind of stiffness in the suspension, it always leaked oil (the left one & Sri knows about that) & was like wood!!!

Trust me, there is Juggad, another Juggad, more Juggad & only Juggads done today to get the front forks fitted. I'm a (whatever you wanna call) to have handed over to a mechanic for all these years & he screwed up things as what it is now!!! Sigh!!!

Anyway, the end result is that the suspensions & front wheels are fitted & I took a spin for 2.8 Kms & I felt like riding a brand new motorcycle. Reminded me about my first motorcycle Suzuki Max100 way back in 97 September, when I took the delivery from the showroom & rode back home. When I came home, I could smell the escence of riding the new motorcycle & the new smell coming from the engine. Aah!!!

But, I've this one question that I was unable to keep the handle bars in one straight line & it kept wobbling; guys any idea why this happens? What's the mistake that I did? Any help is appreciated. Tks.

                            PS - I blew up like hell today & got some new tools;
Sizes 15 to 22 wrenches (Eastman & the quality is more than acceptable for the price)
                            High impact driver
                            Oil can
                            Short nose plier
Special tool to tighten the exhaust coupler & stem nut

Its not a biggg trick, cut the difference length and solder it, soldering should be spot on else any time cutttttt

                              • The front could be wobbling due to many reasons.

                                - Stem nut loose

                                - Front wheel out of alignment ( get the spokes adjusted )

                                - Bearings of front hub

                                - Un-equal amount of oil in both front forks.
