            Thanks man.

            Small update -

Could not find a new leg guard, so got the old one straightened ( it was slightly bent on one side ), and cleaned, and got that installed.

            - The fuel leak ( and 60 kms in 200 bucks! ) was traced to a improperly seated gasket on the Petrol T. But there was one issue, the point where the petrol T connects to the tank, had started rusting!!! So i got that cleaned with a sand paper, the holes re-tapped, and then the T installed back with the rubber seal seated properly. Also for good measure i put some gasket sealant on the seal. Later ill paint it to keep it from rusting.

            - BTW the fuel T is the original one with the small fuel filter in the plastic cup at the bottom!!

            - The horn was fixed, so now i have a nice beep beep horn to honk whenever!!

            - The oil low level connector and harness was recovered from the old meters, and installed, so now the oil low level light is also working.

            - The steering stem had gotten slightly loose, so that was tightened too.

            - The front and rear wheels both were given for truing, Now there is no wobble at 60+ kmph.

            - The front emblem was missing, because the mounts for the logo were from the Rx100, so i sourced the old ones from my bikes removed parts, and got the logo installed.

            - Drained the 2T oil, and filled it with Castrol 2T, instantly the engine was smoother and was revving a lot freer.. I sourced shell also, which will be better??

            Shell or Castrol???

            Work pending -

            - need to improve headlight illumination. ( maybe a CDI kit with 100/90 light kit?? ) please advise.
            - Need to change clutch plates ( feel that the engine is slipping ), Anyone any info on fibre clutch plates??? pricing and how to source??

            - Need master cylinder, hand brake and clutch lever and lever holder!
            - Side reflectors
            - front brake hose replacement and brake bleeding to be done. Also i need the brake clamp plate which connects to the steering stem!

next update - Got a brand new seat for the bike, with the rectangular embossing in the seat. The old one was ok, but it had been re-done with a plain seat cover.

just did about 70 kms on the bike and got home, last 30 of which were on the new seat.. Im loving it!!!!

so much, that all the other bikes are parked, covered and cleaned, but im just enjoying riding this!

Finally after a long and arduous year, the engine is finally complete. After several delays, sourcing parts here and there and collecting, and taking the final plunge, here are some pictures of the assembly, and the final product...

Nice. Instead of painting the engine cases, should have taken a scotch brite with some rin/surf/wheel and scrubbed. Would have left a beautiful alu finish.

EDIT: Coupla observations, clutch pushrod looks a bit worn out, plus instead of getting new screws you should have got allen bolts.

I've replaced most of the bolts on my bike tO Allen 3, 5, 6. I have to carry just 3 allen keys to dissassemble most of the bike Plus the heads dont slip, tightening you dont need an impact wrench.

@sunny - true. The bike in the background has allen bolts. But this was only for the first build. Whenever next the cover is opened, the screws will be replaced with allen bolts.

@dd - the bike is up and running. These pics were taken earlier. She needed a vm 26 and after installing that, she is amazing to ride. The front actually lightens up above 5500 rpm, and she goes great all the way to 9k or so!!

Need to fit a new caliper, and handlebar, and then it should be complete.
